Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater
Your safari starts in Arusha, and you'll drive through green highlands toward the Ngorongoro Crater rim. From there, you descend into the caldera for a game drive where lions, elephants, and other wildlife roam across grasslands and lakes. By evening, you'll reach Ngorongoro Wild Camp on the crater rim for dinner and your first night.

Ngorongoro Crater to Central Serengeti
After breakfast, you head into Serengeti National Park toward Seronera in the central region, which has wildlife year-round. Your afternoon game drive lets you watch lions, cheetahs, elephants, and large herds across the plains. Later, you'll check in at Serengeti Heritage Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Landmarks Serengeti National Park - Day 3
Serengeti (Central to North)
Push north through the Serengeti toward the Mara River region, where the Great Migration happens. During the crossing season, thousands of wildebeest and zebras attempt to ford the river while crocodiles and hippos wait in the water and predators hunt on the banks. Your game drive will show you these intense encounters before you reach Serengeti Heritage Camp for the night.

Following breakfast, you cross into Kenya and enter the Maasai Mara, which connects to the Serengeti ecosystem. Rolling savannahs with acacia trees stretch out before you, filled with predators and seasonal migration herds. You'll spot lions, leopards, and antelope throughout the day, then settle at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge near the reserve for dinner and overnight.

Today you spend the full day exploring the Maasai Mara with continuous game viewing. The open plains hold the Big Five, cheetahs, hyenas, and countless grazers, and during migration season you might see dramatic river crossings. You'll have a picnic lunch in the bush before heading back to Jambo Mara Safari Lodge for dinner and another night.

Maasai Mara to Nairobi
This morning, take a short early game drive in Maasai Mara before heading out. Then drive back toward Nairobi, passing through the Rift Valley with its escarpments and views. You'll reach Kenya's capital by late afternoon or early evening, concluding your safari and heading back to the city after several days in the wilderness.
