Terrible accommodations poor value!!!. We were placed in hostels and run down motels. Example; hotel in Medallin listed as 4 star online but in actuality, it was a sub 2 star motel. Run down, cracks in ceilings, holes in walls, water damaged bathroom and no hot water!. Place looked like a construction site. An example f poor value is, they put us up in a Hostel in Cartagena. I actually liked my room. Small and only 1 of 3 rooms that had windows with a street view. Price online was $25 usd per night. On top of the tour price, we had to pay a $200 euro! Local fee that no one from Penguin Travel has been able to explain to me up to this point. Plan ahead or go with another operator.
