Itinerary
- Day 1
Bissau
You'll arrive in Bissau and get transferred to your hotel for check-in. Spend the rest of the day settling in and resting from your journey.

- Day 2
Tabato
After breakfast, head to Bafatá, Guinea-Bissau's second-largest city, where you can walk through Portuguese colonial architecture and check out the vibrant African market. You'll learn about Amilcar Lopes Cabral, the independence leader born there. Following lunch, it's a short 14 km drive to Tabato, a historic village where you'll hear traditional Xylophone music and spend time with Manding cultural practices.

Canchungo
After breakfast, drive to Cacheu, a 15th-century Portuguese landing site where you can see the slave museum and one of West Africa's oldest fortresses from the 16th century. Then continue to Canchungo, one of the largest Manjaco cities, to see distinctive wooden masks with ancestral and spiritual meaning. You'll stay the night at Casa Canchungo resort.

Quinhamel
Travel to Quinhamel, the central hub of the Pepel tribes, and visit sacred sites to learn about their distinct cultural practices and coastal traditions. Later you'll stop at a local rum distillery that's been running since 1945 and still uses original machinery. Spend the night at Mar-Azul Hotel in Quinhamel or back in Bissau.

Bissau
Walk through Bissau's historic district with its colonial architecture and narrow streets. Check out the Presidential Palace, Fortaleza d'Amura (a Portuguese colonial-era fort), Bissau Cathedral, and other important sites. After that, you'll head to the airport for your departure.
