Itinerary
- Day 1
Lisbon to Madrid
You'll leave Lisbon early in the morning and head toward Spain, with a stop in Caceres to explore the medieval old city and Plaza Mayor on your own schedule. After grabbing lunch somewhere in town, you'll continue on to Madrid for check-in later that afternoon.

Madrid
This morning after breakfast, you'll join a guided tour of Madrid's main sights, walking through Gran Via, Plaza de Espana, Plaza de Oriente, and several other important squares and streets. By afternoon, the city is yours to wander around however you'd like.

Madrid to Toledo
Following breakfast, you'll take a half-day guided tour to Toledo, which sits about an hour outside Madrid. This UNESCO World Heritage site has a fascinating history where Christians, Muslims, and Jews lived together, and you'll see authentic Spanish monuments and the old city that's protected as a National Monument. You'll get back to Madrid with the rest of your day free to do what you want.

Madrid
You have the full day to yourself in Madrid. Whether that means visiting museums like the Prado Gallery, checking out the Royal Palace, spending time shopping, or trying out restaurants and nightlife in the older neighborhoods is entirely up to you. There are also optional excursions available if you're interested.

Madrid to Lisbon
After breakfast, you'll leave Madrid and head into the Extremadura region. You'll stop in Trujillo, the historic hometown of Spanish conquistadors, where you'll have free time to look around the Plaza Mayor. From there, you'll cross back into Portugal and head to Lisbon to wrap up the tour.
