Itinerary
- Day 1
San Jose
A local representative meets you at the airport and arranges a private transfer to your hotel in San Jose. After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to spend however you'd like. You can relax at the hotel or wander around the city to get a feel for things.

- Day 2
San Jose to Pacuare
Check out early and get picked up around 7:00 am for a shared transfer to Pacuare River, where breakfast is served along the way. You'll go through safety training before heading out on a 1.5-hour white-water rafting trip over class II-III rapids. The lodge comes into view around noon. After lunch and getting settled, you have time to explore the natural surroundings before dinner.

Landmarks Pacuare River - Day 3
Pacuare
This is a slower-paced day at Pacuare Lodge. Walk through nature trails in the morning and try birdwatching if that interests you. The lodge staff can tell you about their sustainability practices. Take advantage of what the lodge offers and spend time soaking in the rainforest setting. Lunch and dinner are both provided.

Landmarks Pacuare Lodge - Day 4
Pacuare to Arenal
After breakfast, check out and get back on the Pacuare River for a full-day rafting adventure through class III-IV rapids. You'll navigate lush canyons with rainforest around you, waterfalls, and tropical birds visible from the water. A deli-style lunch happens on the riverbank where you can also change into dry clothes. Then a shared transfer takes you to La Fortuna de San Carlos in the Arenal Volcano area. Check in at your hotel and spend the evening relaxing at the resort.

Arenal
A laid-back day at Arenal Springs Resort. You can soak in the thermal hot springs at the hotel or explore the Arenal region on your own terms. It's a good chance to rest and take in the natural surroundings of the area.

Landmarks Arenal Volcano - Day 6
Arenal to Manuel Antonio
Grab breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Around 8:00 am, meet a local representative for a shared transfer to Manuel Antonio beach on the Central Pacific Coast. You'll arrive around 1:00 pm, get checked in, and then spend the afternoon either relaxing at the hotel or heading to the beach.

- Day 7
Manuel Antonio
After breakfast, the day is open for you to do what appeals most. Spend time on the beach if that's what you feel like, or check out Manuel Antonio National Park on your own schedule. It's your day before heading home tomorrow.

Manuel Antonio to San Jose
Have breakfast and check out of your hotel. A local representative picks you up from the hotel lobby at a time you've agreed on beforehand for a private transfer to Juan Santamaria International Airport for your flight home.
