Marc· June 16th, 2025I went on a self-driving tour with Destination Services Costa Rica, and it exceeded all my expectations. The operator was super responsive and provided amazing support. The local operator did a phenomenal job of putting together a custom package for me. Their know-how and guidance made it possible for me to explore parts of the country I never would have discovered on my own. Every recommendation was just spot-on, especially the hand-picked accommodation - the Drake Bay Wilderness Resort - a truly amazing resort right by the beach, great staff, delicious food, and a national park right in front of your doorstep. The absolute highlight of the trip was visiting Corcovado National Park. I was lucky enough to spot all four monkey species, a Tapir, Toucans and even a Puma. Because it was the rainy season, the tours were uncrowded, which made for an incredibly intimate and personal experience.
