Lima
You'll arrive in Lima and head to your hotel to settle in. After getting comfortable at your luxury accommodation, you'll meet your Travel Director and the other travelers in your group for dinner and drinks in the evening.

- Day 2
Lima
A Local Expert takes you through Lima's colonial sites, including the Cathedral, Government Palace, Archbishop's Palace, and City Hall. You'll tour the Casa Aliaga mansion before heading to Museo Larco to see the world's largest Pre-Columbian art collection. Lunch happens in the museum's 18th-century garden with regional Peruvian dishes, followed by a guided look at the treasured pieces.

Lima to Sacred Valley
This morning you'll transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco. The Sacred Valley tour starts with scenic photo stops along the way. You'll have lunch at Altar Inca with great regional views, then head to your hotel. The evening is yours to rest and adjust to the higher altitude.

- Day 4
Sacred Valley
You'll start at the Maras salt pans where the Incas harvested salt long ago. Then you'll see Moray, an Incan laboratory used to determine ideal altitudes for crops. Meeting a local Quechua weaver comes next to learn about textile traditions. Later, enjoy a traditional Pachamanca feast at Laguna Piuray, visit Hacienda Huayoccari to explore its grounds and museum, and return to your hotel.

- Day 5
Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes
You'll transfer to the station for your IncaRail train ride and visit the Ollantaytambo ruins along the way. Stop at a local house in the village's old town to meet the family. In the afternoon, Local Experts take you through Machu Picchu in small groups, explaining its history, archaeology, and astronomical importance. End your day with dinner and drinks at your hotel.

Machu Picchu
You'll explore Machu Picchu at your own pace this morning with your Travel Director available if you have questions. The afternoon is free to relax at your hotel or wander around the town of Aguas Calientes. In the evening, you'll join the group for dinner.

Aguas Calientes to Cusco
After breakfast, you'll return by train to Ollantaytambo and then transfer to Cusco, the ancient Inca capital. A Local Expert leads a walking tour visiting the cathedral and Qorikancha temple, the most important temple in the Inca Empire. The evening is yours to check out local restaurants and bars.

With the evening free, you can relax at your beachfront resort, use the swimming pools, or walk through the fragrant gardens.

Landmarks Paracas Candelabra - Day 11
Paracas
Your day begins meeting a local fisherman in Paracas to learn about traditional fishing practices and the challenges small-scale fishers face from industrial fleets. Later, you'll board a scenic flight over the UNESCO-listed Nazca Lines, vast geoglyphs etched into the arid plateau over 1,500 years ago with animal and geometric designs visible only from above.

- Day 12
Paracas and Ica
You'll take a scenic morning cruise around the Ballestas Islands with your Local Expert to see blue footed boobies, Humboldt penguins, Peruvian pelicans, fur seals, and sea lions in their habitat. Later, visit a pisco distillery in Ica for a tasting of Peru's national drink, then explore one of Peru's finest small museums with mummies, skulls, fossils, ceramics, textiles, and artifacts from the Inca and other regional civilizations.

- Day 13
Ica to Lima
You'll return to Lima with a stop at Hacienda San José in Chincha for a tour of this former slave plantation. Explore the original building, baroque chapel with frescoes, agricultural equipment, and the network of catacombs and underground tunnels once used to transport enslaved people from the coast. Then transfer to Lima airport for your departure.
