- Day 1
Arrival in Stockholm
You'll make your way to Stockholm at your own pace today. By evening, you'll meet up with your guide and the rest of the group at the hotel for a welcome dinner to kick things off.

- Day 2
Stockholm Old Town and Vasa Museum
Your guide takes you through Gamla Stan's tight cobblestone streets, stopping at the Royal Palace, the German Church, and the city's narrowest alley. You'll see the Nobel Prize Museum from outside and grab some Swedish cinnamon buns along the way. Later in the afternoon, head to the Vasa Museum to see the remarkably well-preserved 17th-century ship on display.

Drottningholm Castle
You'll take a steamboat out to Drottningholm Castle, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and where the Swedish Royal Family actually lives. Spend time walking through the royal palace gardens and see the 18th-century Chinese Pavilion. The afternoon is yours to use however you like, whether that's wandering around more cafes in Gamla Stan or checking out some optional attractions in the area.

Stockholm Archipelago and Island of Grinda
A ferry takes you out to Grinda, an island where you can really feel Sweden's natural landscape. You'll walk about 8 km through pine forests (takes roughly 3 hours with minimal elevation gain of about 80 meters), spotting traditional red Swedish houses and Baltic Sea views. Sheep roam the island keeping vegetation in check. If you want, there's an option to swim in the Baltic at one of the beaches, though the water stays pretty cool.

Departure from Stockholm
After breakfast, you'll leave Stockholm on your own schedule depending on your flight time. Before you go, you can check out places like the ABBA Museum or do some shopping for souvenirs if you have time. Your guide can point you toward other spots worth seeing around the city.
