- Renate· March 5th, 2025It was a very nice round trip with lots of great impressions. Vishal was a great guide, only 6 people in the group - really great. For me personally, there were a bit too many temples - maybe 2 temples less, but I personally would have preferred 2 nights in Kochi and on the houseboat. The ashram was forgettable and so was the boat trip to Periya National Park at lunchtime with about 80 people on board. A morning safari by jeep would be better for me. The Abad Turtle Hotel is getting on in years and should be completely renovated. However, the rooms were nice and large, the staff were very friendly and the outdoor area and beach were fantastic. The food was also very good. That made up for a lot and so we spent some wonderful, relaxing days at the Abad Turtle. All in all, a great vacation. We did not regret it.Show more
