Frankfurt to Naples to Ischia
You'll fly into Naples and then transfer to your hotel on Ischia. Once you arrive, Ingrid and Francesco will greet you and get you settled. That evening you'll have dinner with the other travelers at Hotel Lumihe, so it's a good chance to meet everyone right from the start.

Ischia
Your tour guide meets with the group this morning to walk through what's coming up over the next few days. Before lunch you'll gather with fellow travelers for an aperitif. The afternoon is yours to do as you like. You could wander down to Sant'Angelo, the fishing village right below the hotel, or if you want a fuller experience, there's an optional island tour available that shows you different parts of Ischia and gives you insight into how locals live here.

Ischia Castle
Today you're heading to Ischia Aragonese Castle, a fortress that sits on volcanic rock and connects to the island via a 200-meter promontory. This place goes back to 474 BC, and from up there you get views of the sea, Capri, and the Gulf of Naples. Afterward you can spend some quiet time in the castle garden with olive trees and oleanders around you.

Ischia

If you're up for something more active, a hike to Monte Epomeo, Ischia's highest point, is a popular choice and you'll feel the effort was worth it once you reach the top.

La Mortella Botanical Garden
Your tour guide takes you through La Mortella Botanical Garden, which sits at the base of Monte Zaro. Lord Walton, an English composer, created this space with about 300 plant species from all over the world. You'll walk around orchids, Thai temples, and waterfall features while taking in the coastal scenery from the grounds.

Ischia
You'll get picked up at your hotel and head to Poseidon Gardens, which is the largest thermal park on the island. There are 20 thermal pools to spend time in, with water temperatures ranging from 20-40°C/68-104°F, plus natural sauna and Kneipp facilities to try out. The whole day is focused on relaxing, and you'll get those sweeping views over the island and sea from the park.

By evening, you'll have a final meal with the other people on the tour.
