This trip was a blast... Our tour guide Salvador was fantastic. Nobody in our group could speak Spanish but we were still able to navigate throughout mexico and experience the local culture. This trip included beaches with incredible views, some hiking / outdoors, a local coffee farm, mezcal production - covering several different regions of Mexico. Puerto Escondido, oaxaca, puebla, Mexico city were all worth the visit. If you expect five star resort accommodations this trip might not be for you. This trip is about experiencing the local culture and all of these cities have plenty of serviceable locally ran hotels. We felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay and had a great time. Highly recommend this trip for anyone wanting to experience the great food and culture of Mexico. Having an experienced guide to show us some of the lesser known gems was quite the treat. Thanks Sal!!

Can you please let me know arrival and departure airport code? Who will pick us up from airport? Do I find my own taxi? How likely the trip will be canceled due to tour group too small in size? If I go in January, do I need complete summer clothes, or do I need winter jacket for night time?

    • Vibe AdventuresOperatorWritten October 2024

Our group departures run with 4+ people, and there is a good chance they will be confirmed. Airport transfers are not included—you can take a taxi from the airport as it's a short drive. We can also arrange transfers for you at an extra fee. We suggest arriving at PXM and departing from MEX. It's warm on the coast, but you would need a light spring jacket for days 5-9 (no rains).

Once booked, you will get a confirmation in your email (however, normally Mexican migration authorities do not ask for any itinerary from those who arrive for travel purposes). The tour starts in Puerto Escondido, which has an airport.

After booking the tour by when will I get a confirmation that the tour is on as I will need to book flight tickets?

    • Vibe AdventuresOperatorWritten August 2022

As there are still not enough participants to confirm your group booking request, we can suggest these options: 1. book a private departure; 2. find at least 2 more travel companions; 3. wait till we get more bookings for this date; 4. join some of our confirmed group departures currently offered at a 5% discount.
