- Day 1
Urumqi
You'll arrive in Urumqi and get picked up from the airport for a ride to your hotel. Once you're checked in, the rest of the day is yours to do what you want. Take some time to rest after traveling, or if you're feeling up for it, walk around and get a feel for the city.

Landmarks Urumqi - Day 2
Silk Road International Skiing Resort
After breakfast, it's about an hour's drive out to Silk Road International Skiing Resort. This is one of China's top ski parks, and you'll spend the day on the slopes with all your gear provided. Lunch happens at the resort, and you'll stay overnight there so you can hit the slopes early the next morning if you want.

Tianchi Skiing Resort - Gudu Hot Spring
The drive to Heavenly Lake takes 2 hours, and it's a UNESCO site tucked up in the Tianshan Mountains. During winter you can try ice skating if that appeals to you. From there, head to Tianchi Skiing Resort for more time skiing. Later, a 1-hour drive takes you to Gudu Hot Spring Resort out in the Gurbantünggüt Desert for a soak in the hot springs to end the day. Breakfast and lunch are covered.

Urumqi
You'll head back to Urumqi after breakfast. Spend the morning at Xinjiang Museum looking at ancient mummies and other historical items. In the afternoon, check out Erdaoqiao Bazaar, a popular spot where local vendors sell crafts, souvenirs, and regional products. It's a good place to shop for things to take home. Breakfast and lunch are included.
