You'll arrive at Marrakesh airport where your assistant will be waiting for the transfer to your hotel. After settling in, you can either rest from your flight or head out to check out the local shops and bars in the area. Dinner happens at the hotel, so you'll have time to get oriented before the evening.

- Day 2
Marrakesh
This is a full day exploring Marrakesh with a guide. You'll see the Koutoubia Mosque, which has that distinctive 70-metre minaret, then move through the ornate rooms of Bahia Palace. The Menaras Gardens provide a quiet spot to relax before heading into the energy of Djemaa El Fna square where you can browse the local markets and watch street performers. There's a traditional Msemmem pancake demonstration and a visit to the Pikala Bikes project on the itinerary. Dinner back at the hotel wraps up the day.

Marrakesh to Ouarzazate
You'll leave Marrakesh early in a 4-wheel drive heading toward Ouarzazate through the High Atlas Mountains. The Tich'n'Tichka pass sits at 2260m, and from there you'll visit the historic Kasbah of Telouet, which was once home to the influential Glaoui family. After stopping for lunch on your own, the day continues at the UNESCO-protected Kasbah of Ait Benhadou, a medieval castle that's been used as a film location. You'll finish with a short walk around Ouarzazate itself and see the Kasbah of Taourirt before dinner.

Ouarzazate to Merzouga
Following breakfast, you're heading toward Merzouga and the Sahara desert. The drive takes you through Boumalone and El Kelaa M'gouna, passing various Kasbahs along the way. You'll stop at the scenic Gorges du Dadès, then continue to the Todra Gorges where the canyons reach 250 metres high and there's an optional hike if you want it. After grabbing lunch on your own, you'll drive to Merzouga and stay overnight at a desert camp Bivouac.

Merzouga to Zagora
Rise early to catch sunrise over the Merzouga dunes, then have breakfast before departing for Zagora. You'll pass through Rissani, the birthplace of the Alawite dynasty, and the Berber village of Alnif. The drive continues through pre-Saharan landscapes with scattered Berber villages including Tazzarine and Taghbalt. At the Tamegroute Library you'll see 12th-century manuscripts and documents. Once you reach Zagora and check in, dinner is served at the hotel.

Zagora to Marrakesh
After breakfast you're heading back to Marrakesh by driving through the Draa valley with the Sahara as your backdrop. You'll see countless Berber villages and oases along the way, with endless palm trees lining Morocco's largest river, the Draa. Lunch happens en route, and then you'll cross the Tizin'Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakesh. Check in at the hotel and have dinner there.

Marrakesh
After breakfast, the day is yours to spend as you like in Marrakesh. You can wander the vibrant streets and get a feel for the city at your own pace. If you want something structured, there are optional experiences available like a traditional hammam spa treatment in a riad or a Moroccan dinner in the medina. Dinner's at the hotel unless you choose one of the optional experiences.
