The path takes you past the medieval town of Chiusa where you can see the Säben monastery, then through narrowing valleys lined with vineyards typical of northern Italy. Once you reach Bolzano, there's time to check out the arcades and the Ötzi museum (free entry with your Bressanone Card), plus Piazza Walther. Afterward, you'll hop on a train back to Bressanone.

The route connects several small villages together. On the way back, stop at the Augustinian Abbey of Neustift where they keep the world's smallest Bible, which is a fairly unique piece to see.

Everything was so well organised we could just relax and ride the bikes. We hired bikes and they were in great condition and gave us no problems- I would definitely recommend this holiday. The accomodation was excellent too.

It was well organised - luggage delivery was great, but the ride was too long in the same countryside which became monotonous and the trail took you through a lot of unattractive industrial and urban areas.
