Heraklion
You'll arrive at Heraklion airport and get picked up for a transfer to your hotel. After settling in, the rest of the day is yours to wander around the area at your own pace. Dinner is included, so you can grab a meal at the hotel or nearby.

- Day 2
Elounda
After breakfast, you'll take a boat out to Spinalonga Island, which has quite a history as a former Venetian fortress and leper colony. A guide will walk you around the ruins and show you the old streets with their shops and houses. You'll head back to Elounda by lunch time, then have free time to check out the town, do some shopping, or jump in the sea.

Heraklion
You start with breakfast at the hotel, then drive to the Palace of Knossos from 1900 BC, the center of Minoan civilization on Crete. Your guide explains the history and myths as you walk through the palace. After that, you'll go to Heraklion to see the Venetian lion fountain, the loggia, and the old harbor with time to explore on your own. There's also an option to join a guided tour of the Archaeological Museum if you're interested.

- Day 4
Rethymnon
Following breakfast, you'll visit two historic cities starting with Chania, sometimes called Little Venice. Your guide takes you through the old neighborhoods and backstreets, then you'll check out the market hall and the leather lane before reaching the Venetian port. From there, it's on to Rethymnon where you explore the old town and harbor with their mix of Italian and Turkish architecture. Both places have free time so you can wander the narrow streets and get a feel for each town.

Heraklion
After breakfast, the day is completely yours. You can relax on the beach, take a swim, or explore the island however you'd like. Dinner is included, so you'll have a meal arranged.

- Day 6
Lassithi Plateau
You'll have breakfast and then spend the day doing an off-road adventure through Crete's mountain villages. You'll see the Aposelimi dam and Roman aqueduct ruins at Lyttos, then visit Kastamonitsa for raki and olive oil tasting. From there, you follow an ancient Minoan path up into the mountains to meet a local shepherd and try homemade cheese while spotting wild animals. You reach a viewpoint overlooking the Minoan path and the Lassithi Plateau before heading across it for a traditional lunch with unlimited wine. The day ends at Krassi village to see a 2,000-year-old plane tree before you return to your hotel.

Titakis Winery
Breakfast at the hotel starts your day, then you drive to Archanes, a settlement that's been around for 4,000 years in a Mediterranean valley. You'll explore this charming traditional village and see its Minoan heritage and architecture. Later, you visit Titakis Winery to taste five different wines with food pairings while learning about the family's winemaking history going back to the late 1950s and the modern revival of Cretan wines.
