Your safari representative meets you at Nairobi International Airport and drives you to your hotel in downtown Nairobi. The afternoon and evening are yours to walk around the neighborhood and get oriented to the city at your own pace.

- Day 2
Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Early morning departure from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park takes about 4 hours by private vehicle. After checking in at the lodge, you'll have a substantial lunch followed by some rest time. Later in the afternoon, head out for your first game drive where you'll likely spot large herds of elephants and various bird species around the marshes.

Amboseli National Park
You'll spend the entire day on game drives throughout Amboseli National Park looking for lions, zebras, leopards, hippos, black rhinos, and wildebeests. Midday includes a stop at Observation Hill for views across the whole park and clear sightings of Mt. Kilimanjaro on the horizon. Back at the lodge for dinner, you can spend time stargazing before bed.

Amboseli to Mount Kenya
Start early with a transfer to the Amboseli airstrip for a morning flight to Nairobi. From there, drive northward through Kenya's central highlands for about 4 hours to Mount Kenya Safari Club, arriving in time for lunch and a rest. The afternoon gives you time to walk around the resort, take in the mountain air, and check out the nearby animal orphanage.

Masai Mara to Nairobi
This morning you'll leave the reserve and transfer to Masai Mara airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Wilson Airport in Nairobi. After landing, you'll be picked up and driven to lunch at a local restaurant. From there, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight home, marking the end of your Kenya safari.
