Itinerary
- Day 1
London to York to Stratford-upon-Avon
Your Travel Director will meet you at 07:30 at the London hotel, and from there you'll head north toward the Midlands. The morning takes you to Stratford-upon-Avon where you can see Shakespeare's birthplace and learn about his life and works. After that, you'll continue on to York, a walled medieval city where you'll walk through the narrow streets of the Shambles and visit York Minster, a cathedral that showcases incredible medieval architecture. By evening, there's a Welcome Dinner with wine where you'll meet the other travelers on your tour.

- Day 2
York to Edinburgh
The route takes you further north to see portions of Hadrian's Wall, the ancient Roman fortification that once stretched 80 miles across northern England. You'll pass by Jedburgh Abbey on your way into Scotland and then arrive in Edinburgh for a two-night stay. The city sits on hills with medieval streets and dramatic views, so you'll get a sense of it as you settle in.

- Day 3
Edinburgh
A local expert will guide you through Edinburgh's royal and historic sites. You'll start at the Palace of Holyroodhouse at the end of the Royal Mile, the Queen's official Scottish residence, then see the Sir Walter Scott Monument and walk through the New Town with its 18th century neoclassical buildings and broad streets. Edinburgh Castle comes next, where you can see the Honours of Scotland, Mons Meg, and the Stone of Destiny. The afternoon is yours to explore on your own, and if your tour includes it, the evening option is the Military Tattoo, a traditional Scottish performance held at the castle.

Edinburgh to Glasgow
You'll drive through central Scotland, passing through Bannockburn and Stirling before heading into the Trossachs, an area known for its hills and lochs. The journey continues alongside Loch Lomond with its scenic banks. Once in Glasgow, your Travel Director will give you an orientation of the city, pointing out George Square and St. Mungo's Cathedral as examples of the grand public buildings and architecture here.

- Day 5
Glasgow to Lake District
The tour heads south from Glasgow, crossing into England at Gretna Green and entering the Lake District. This region inspired many writers with its rolling hills and lakes. You'll learn about poet William Wordsworth and visit his grave in Grasmere, a small stone village in the valley. The landscape here is what shaped much of Romantic-era literature and poetry.

Lake District to Cardiff
You'll stop in Ludlow, a historic market town in Shropshire that sits beneath its medieval castle. There's time to walk through the traditional open-air market and see local crafts before heading into Wales. By afternoon you arrive in Cardiff, where your Travel Director shows you around the city. You'll see Cardiff Castle and the Principality Stadium sitting along the River Taff.

Cardiff to Cornwall
After crossing the Severn Bridge back into England, you head to Bath, a Georgian city built around natural hot springs that attracted visitors since Roman times. The 15th century Abbey Church has famous stone carvings called Jacob's Ladder angels to see. You'll tour the Roman Baths, which are remarkably well-preserved. From there, the route goes to Glastonbury, a place connected to legends about King Arthur and the Holy Grail, before finishing the day at your resort in the Cornish countryside.

Cornwall
The morning includes a visit to a small fishing village on the Cornish coast. Then you choose between two experiences: either a walk and foraging trip through Dartmoor National Park with its rolling valleys, or a harbor cruise from Plymouth to see the Barbican, the Citadel, Plymouth Hoe, and the Mayflower Steps. The afternoon loop back goes through Dartmoor countryside where wild ponies roam. The day ends with a farm-to-table dinner at Heskyn Mill featuring organic produce grown on the surrounding land.

You'll travel across Salisbury Plain to visit Stonehenge, the prehistoric rock circle that's roughly 5,000 years old and remains mysterious in its purpose and construction. After exploring the site, the tour heads toward London where you'll arrive back at your hotel, marking the end of your journey through Britain.
