Itinerary
- Day 1
Cusco
Your guide meets you at the airport and takes you to your hotel to settle in. After checking your bags, you'll head out for a city tour that starts at Plaza de Armas where you'll see Cusco Cathedral. From there, wander through San Blas to look at handicrafts and galleries before heading back to rest at your hotel.

Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes
Morning takes you to Sacsayhuaman to see the impressive stone structures, then you'll walk to the Temple of the Moon and check out the water temple Tambomachay. After that, drive to Ollantaytambo where you'll grab lunch at a restaurant of your choice. Later, catch a 1.5-hour train to Aguas Calientes and walk to your hotel near the station.

Machu Picchu
Head to the nearby bus station and catch a bus up to Machu Picchu for a 2-hour guided tour of the site. Once your guide finishes, you can hike Huayna Picchu on your own to take in views from the top. Bring snacks since you'll eat lunch up there, then return by bus back to Aguas Calientes and walk to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to do as you like.

Ollantaytambo - Sacred Valley - Urubamba
Walk to the railway station and take a train to Ollantaytambo on your own, where your guide and driver will be waiting. You'll tour nearby villages that have Inca relics and walk through traditional streets. Then head toward the Sacred Valley and Urubamba Village for a buffet lunch. Before ending at your hotel near Urubamba, you'll visit Maras Salt Mines and Moray, which has those famous circular terraces.

Chinchero - Cusco
After breakfast, go to Chinchero to see the Inca Walls and Colonial Church, then stop at a local textile center where workers will show you how weaving is done. Drive back to Cusco (takes about 40 minutes) and take a short break at your hotel. In the afternoon, visit San Pedro Market to see local life and try some snacks. End your evening at Qorikancha, the Temple of Sun.
