Itinerary
- Day 1
Jakarta
Your guide will meet you in the arrivals lobby at Jakarta airport. After a 1-hour drive to your hotel, the rest of the day is yours to rest and get ready for what's ahead.

Jakarta to Magelang
Following breakfast, you'll fly to Semarang and then transfer to Magelang to check in at your hotel. The afternoon gives you time to rest or walk around on your own.

Magelang
You'll spend the day checking out Magelang's cultural sites. The Colonial Railway Station of Java, built in the 19th century during Dutch colonial times, shows the country's railway history. Later, the Joglo villa displays traditional Indonesian architecture. After that, you'll head back to your hotel.

Menoreh Hill and Candirejo Village
After a 1.5-hour drive, you'll trek through Menoreh Hill past coffee and tea plantations while learning about Javanese culture and farming. By midday, you'll have freshly cooked local lunch in Candirejo Village. In the afternoon, pick between a traditional carriage or bicycle ride, then join a Gamelan music class. Check in at your hotel by evening.

Borobudur and Prambanan Temples, Yogyakarta
Start early to watch sunrise at Borobudur Temple, one of Indonesia's major temple complexes. Then you'll head to Prambanan Temple, the country's largest Hindu temple. That evening, catch the Ramayana Ballet Show with Indonesian dinner, then check into your Yogyakarta hotel.

Yogyakarta to Bromo
After breakfast, take a scenic 3.5-hour train east to Mojokerto with views of Java's volcanic landscape. When you arrive, you'll visit Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park to see Madakaripura Waterfall at 200 meters (656 ft.), Java's tallest waterfall. From there, continue toward Bromo.

Mount Bromo to Banyuwangi
Head out early into Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. A jeep takes you to Penanjakan Mountain's viewpoint at 2,770 meters (9,090 ft.) for dawn volcano views. You'll cross the Sea of Sand and reach Mount Bromo's summit at 2,329 meters (7,640 ft.), one of Java's active volcanoes. After returning to refresh, it's a 6-hour drive to Banyuwangi.

West Bali National Park
You'll spend the full day in West Bali National Park, which covers 10% of Bali with volcanoes, rainforests, mangroves, and beaches. Bringing a breakfast box, you'll drive to the port for a boat to Brumbun coral beach at Prapat Agung Peninsula. Look for rare Bali starlings, silvered leaf monkeys, and deer. The day wraps up at Shorea Beach where you'll boat back.

Munduk Village to Departure
On your final day, visit the coffee plantation in Munduk Village for views of Lake Buyan and Lake Tamblingan, the twin lakes bordered by coffee plantations and rice fields. Take a canoe across the water to Ulun Danu Bratan Temple. Then you'll transfer to the airport for your flight home.
