Itinerary
- Day 1
Muscat
Touch down at Muscat International Airport where your chauffeur will be waiting in the arrival lounge. From there, you'll head straight to your hotel to settle in and rest after your flight.

- Day 2
Muscat
After breakfast, head to the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, one of the Middle East's largest religious structures. Then walk through the Bait Al Zubair Museum to see traditional Omani artifacts and learn about the region's history. You'll stop for photos at Al Alam Palace, the official residence, with the Portuguese forts Mirani and Jalali standing guard on either side. Later in the evening, wander through Muttrah Souq where you can bargain for local handicrafts and silver jewelry before heading back to your hotel.

- Day 3
Muscat to Nizwa
Starting after breakfast, drive 170 km to Nizwa, a town known for its cultural significance in Oman. You'll tour Jabrin Castle, a 17th-century structure with intricate plasterwork and decorated wooden ceilings. Stop to photograph Bahla Fort, once an important regional center in the 12th century. The fort is currently closed for work, but you can see it from outside and explore the area's pottery workshops. Overnight you'll stay in Nizwa.

- Day 4
Nizwa to Jebel Shams
After breakfast, check out a fort with a distinctive circular cannon tower, then explore the traditional souq there. Later, drive to Al Hamra and Misfah, two villages with mud houses that have stood for 400 years and are still lived in. You'll see the ancient falaj irrigation system recognized by UNESCO. Then head to Wadi Gul and Wadi Nakhar, remote settlements near a large canyon. The day ends at Jebel Shams, one of the highest peaks in the region, where you'll overnight at the resort.

- Day 5
Jebel Shams to Wahiba Sands
Drive toward Wahiba Sands with a stop at Birkat Al Mauz, a traditional settlement with old ruins and plantations watered by an ancient UNESCO-listed irrigation system. Next, pass through Ibra, an ancient city that once served as a trading and cultural center. You'll arrive at Wahiba Sands around 3:30 PM to see the red and white sand dunes. Spend the afternoon on dune driving, watch the sunset, and have a BBQ dinner before staying overnight at the camp.

- Day 6
Wahiba Sands to Ras Al Hadd
Start with breakfast at camp. Between mid morning and early afternoon, swim in the clear pools of Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman's beautiful wadis with deep blue water. Drive to Sur, the easternmost town, where you can see the traditional dhow-building craft that defines Omani maritime history. After an early dinner, head to Ras Al Jinz turtle sanctuary to watch green turtles come ashore at night after their long ocean journey to nest. Stay overnight at Ras Al Hadd.

Ras Al Hadd to Muscat
After breakfast, stop at Bibi Miriam's Tomb in Qalhat along the coastal drive back toward Muscat for photos. Continue to the Bimah Sinkhole, a limestone crater with striking blue-green water. On clear days, you might see sharks in the deep water or gazelles on the surrounding landscape as you drive along the coast. Overnight you'll return to Muscat.
