Itinerary
- Day 1
Cusco
You'll arrive at the airport and connect with your English-speaking guide for the transfer to your hotel. Once you're settled, the afternoon opens up to check out Plaza de Armas and see Qorikancha temple, where you can walk through the intricate stonework. Before the day ends, head to Sacsayhuaman to take in those impressive stone walls that show just how advanced the construction techniques were.

- Day 2
Moray - Maras - Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes
After breakfast, you'll head to Chinchero's main square to see the Inca walls alongside the colonial church. From there, you tour a local textile center to watch artisans work. Later in the day, you'll move on to Moray's concentric terraces and then the salt mines at Maras before catching a train to Aguas Calientes. You'll arrive at your hotel near the train station in the evening.

- Day 3
Machu Picchu to Ollantaytambo
Early morning bus ride takes you to Machu Picchu for a guided 2-hour tour that covers the heritage site's history and layout. You'll head back to Aguas Calientes by bus after, then grab lunch on your own. Later, you catch a train to Ollantaytambo and transfer to your hotel near Urubamba Village, giving you time to settle in before dinner.

Pisac to Cusco
You'll drive to Pisac to walk through its archaeological park, checking out the terraces and views across the valley. The market there has handicrafts and local goods worth browsing. On the way back to Cusco, there's a stop at Awanacancha where you can see alpacas, llamas, and guanacos up close before returning to your hotel.

Humantay Lagoon
An early start gets you to Mollepata, then you continue on to Sorayapampa for a 2-hour uphill hike toward Humantay Lagoon. The snow-covered Humantay Mountain rises in the background as you make your way up. You'll hike back down and grab lunch in Mollepata before the drive back to Cusco.

Cusco to Puno
You'll take a shared bus from Cusco to Puno for about 10 hours, but there are several stops along the way. First is Andahuaylillas to visit San Pedro Chapel, then Raqchi where you see the Inca Temple built for Wiracocha. Lunch happens at a buffet cafeteria in Sicuani around midday. In the afternoon, you'll stop at La Raya for mountain views and wildlife, then Pucara to see Inca cultural pieces before reaching Puno.

- Day 7
Uros and Taquile Islands
A motorboat takes you out to Uros Islands to see how the Uros people actually live on floating islands. You'll continue by motorboat to Taquile Island after about 3 hours on the water, where you visit with a local family and have a simple lunch together. The return journey gets you back to the pier and your hotel by evening.
