Nairobi
A driver will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel for check-in. Once settled, the rest of your day is free to wander around Nairobi and get a feel for Kenya's capital. You can explore at your own pace, grab food wherever looks good, and adjust to the local time.

Landmarks/POIs Nairobi - Day 2
Nairobi to Maasai Mara
You'll drive out to Maasai Mara Game Reserve, which takes several hours. Lunch is waiting when you arrive, so you can eat and rest a bit. By afternoon, you're heading out on a game drive to look for the Big Five and all the other wildlife that makes this reserve so special. The landscape is incredible, and you'll have a good chance of seeing a lot.

Landmarks/POIs Maasai Mara Game Reserve - Day 3
Maasai Mara
This is a full day dedicated to game viewing across the savannah. The terrain rolls gently through grassland, giving you great sightlines for spotting animals. Around midday, you'll stop for a picnic lunch at the hippo pool where you can watch for hippos and crocodiles in the water. After eating, the drive continues through the reserve's network of roads and tracks. The layout here is really good for getting close views and taking photos.

Landmarks/POIs Maasai Mara Game Reserve - Day 4
Maasai Mara
Another full day of game viewing across rolling savannah grassland. You'll break mid-day for a picnic lunch at the hippo pool, watching hippos and crocodiles from the bank. The park's road system allows you to get relatively close to animals, which is great for photography and observation. You'll spend the whole day moving through different sections of the reserve.

Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru
Starting early means you catch the animals when they're most active. After that morning drive, you'll have breakfast before heading to Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive gets you there by lunchtime. In the afternoon, a game drive takes you out across the lake area. The water here is pink from millions of flamingos, and you'll also see giraffes, rhinos, and waterbucks set against dramatic rift valley scenery.

Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha to Nairobi
After an early breakfast, you're driving to Lake Naivasha, which sits at 1,880 meters above sea level. This freshwater lake has papyrus fringes and boat rides to see hippos and buffalos, plus over 300 bird species hanging around. After lunch, you can choose to take optional boat trips or walk around Crescent Island where zebras, giraffes and wildebeest roam. Later you'll drive back to Nairobi for dinner and an overnight stay.

Landmarks/POIs Lake Naivasha Crescent Island - Day 7
Nairobi
After breakfast, you're heading to the Giraffe Center where you can hand-feed Rothschild giraffes with a keeper supervising. Next stop is the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust elephant orphanage in Langata. The open house runs from 11:00 to 12:00, so you'll watch baby elephants playing, taking mud baths, and listen to keepers explain how they care for orphans. After lunch, your driver will take you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight out.
