Itinerary
- Day 1
Kunming
You'll arrive in Kunming by bullet train or flight. Your driver meets you at the station or airport and takes you to your hotel for the night.
- Day 2
Kunming to Dali
Meet your guide at 8:30 am and drive about 85km to the Stone Forest. After that, head back to Kunming to check out the Birds and Flowers Market and walk around Green Lake. Later in the evening, you'll take a 2-hour bullet train to Dali and transfer to your guesthouse.

Dali
Start the morning walking through Dali Old Town, including Foreigners' Street, the Ancient City Wall, and Gate Tower. Then visit the Three Pagodas at Chongsheng Monastery. In the afternoon, walk through Xizhou Old Town to see Bai ethnic traditional architecture and try local three-course tea. After that, head to Haishe Park for views of Erhai Lake, and stop by Zhoucheng Village to see a tie-dyeing workshop before returning to your hotel.

Dali to Lijiang
Drive for about 3 hours to Lijiang. When you arrive, visit Black Dragon Pool and the Dongba Culture Museum. You'll have free time to explore Lijiang Old Town on your own. At 5:00 pm, meet your guide at Big Waterwheel spot and transfer to your guesthouse.

Lijiang
At 9:00 am, visit Baisha Old Town and Baisha Murals (or choose to visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain instead if you prefer). Then drive to Yuhu Village and see the Former Residence of Joseph Rock. During the afternoon, transfer to Shuhe Old Town.

Lijiang to Shangri-La
Drive to Qiaotou Town in the morning, viewing the First Bend of Yangtze River from afar. Stop at Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge for photos, then hike through Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge for about 3 hours (starting from the 14km point to Tina's Guesthouse). At 3:30 pm, drive to Shangri-La. Once there, explore Dukezong Ancient Town and walk up Guishan Hill to see the Grand Prayer Wheel and get panoramic views of the city.

Shangri-La
Your hotel pickup starts the day. Visit Songzanlin Monastery and tour Xiaojiezi Village, a local Tibetan community near the monastery where you'll meet families. In the afternoon, transfer to Napahai Lake. By late afternoon, you'll head back to your hotel.
