Itinerary
- Day 1
Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha
A driver will collect you from Kilimanjaro International Airport and take you to Themi Fall Leisure campsite, situated on coffee farms in the area. Once you've settled into your accommodations, everyone gathers for a pre-safari briefing where your guide confirms you have the required medical coverage and travel insurance before the adventure starts.

Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
You'll head out toward Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania's most varied reserves. The landscape here shifts between groundwater forests, open grasslands, hot springs, and woodlands with the mountain rising behind it all. After a picnic lunch, you'll look for the park's famous tree-climbing lions and watch for over 350 bird species moving through the trees. By late afternoon you'll drive back to the campsite.

Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
The journey toward Serengeti National Park includes a stop at Olduvai Gorge where you can walk through the museum and see archaeological finds from human ancestors going back 2.5 million years. Following lunch, you enter the Serengeti and spend the afternoon looking for wildlife across the plains dotted with acacia trees and rocky kopjes. Giraffe, buffalo, elephant, and big cats move through the landscape, and you might catch sight of migration herds as well.

Serengeti National Park
You'll start before dawn for a full day of game viewing across the Serengeti. Stop at Hippo Pool to watch hippos and crocodiles in the water, then search for lion prides moving through the territory. The volcanic rocky outcrops called kopjes provide shelter for animals, and you'll explore these formations while scanning for plains game including elephants, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, and the harder-to-spot leopards and cheetahs. Birdlife fills the skies throughout the day.

Landmarks/POIs Serengeti National Park - Day 5
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Arusha
An early morning game drive takes you through the Serengeti before you head toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where wildlife and local Masai herders coexist on the same land. You'll descend into the crater where natural walls protect large populations of lions, elephants, buffalo, and rhino. Note that giraffes can't handle the steep crater sides, so they don't live here. After exploring the crater floor, the drive back to Arusha takes place in the late afternoon.
