Kathmandu
You'll arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport and get picked up for the drive to your hotel. After checking in and cleaning up, there's a welcome dinner hosted by Alpine Club of Himalaya this evening where you'll meet the team and get oriented.

- Day 2
Kathmandu to Lukla to Phakding
An early morning Twin Otter flight takes you to Lukla where your trekking adventure officially starts. You'll meet your guides and porters, then begin walking on gradually descending trails toward Cheplung village where you get your first view of the sacred Mount Khumbila. From there, continue down to Phakding for the night.

Landmarks Mount Khumbila - Day 3
Phakding to Namche Bazaar
Walk through pine forests and up through Benkar Valley, crossing the Dudh Koshi River along the way. You'll pass through Chumoa and Monjo villages before entering Everest National Park, then keep ascending toward Namche Bazaar. By evening you'll reach this busy hub of the Everest region.

Landmarks Dudh Koshi River Sagarmatha National Park - Day 4
Namche Bazaar
Spend the day acclimating at higher altitude in Namche Bazaar. Walk around the main town to see government offices, ATMs, shops, and the colorful market. You have options for the afternoon, like hiking to Sagarmatha National Park for sunrise views of Everest, trekking to Khumjung village, or visiting the Hillary School and the monastery with its yeti scalp.

- Day 5
Namche Bazaar to Tengboche
Trek down to the Dudh-Koshi River where you'll have views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and other peaks. Then ascend through rhododendron forests to reach Tengboche. Visit the region's largest monastery here and take in more views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and the surrounding mountains.

Landmarks Tengboche Monastery 
- Day 6
Tengboche to Dingboche
Walk through forests with birch, conifers, and rhododendrons while looking toward Mount Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. The trail drops to Devuche, crosses the Imja River, and passes Pangboche where you'll stop at Pangboche Monastery. Keep moving toward Imja Valley and the Lobuche River, then climb to Dingboche for the night.

Landmarks Pangboche Monastery Imja River - Day 7
Dingboche
Stay in Dingboche for another acclimatization day. The village has stone-walled fields growing barley, buckwheat, and potatoes. Take an optional day hike to either Nagarjun Hill or Chukhung Valley to see Makalu, Lhotse, Chalotse, Tawache, and Ama Dablam.

Dingboche to Lobuche
Start with a gradual climb to Duglha at the end of Khumbu Glacier's terminal moraine, then climb steeply to Chupki Lhara where prayer flags and memorials honor mountaineers Scott Fischer and Babu Chiri Sherpa. Continue along the moraine seeing Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori, and Mahalangur Himal before reaching Lobuche.

Landmarks Khumbu Glacier - Day 9
Lobuche to Everest Base Camp to Gorakshep
Trek to Everest Base Camp through the former Gorakshep Lake, passing memorials to Indian army mountaineers. The thin air makes this hike physically demanding. You'll walk through rocky terrain, moraine, and streams to reach Base Camp with its colorful mountaineers' tents. See Nuptse, Khumbuste, and Pumori, then head back to Gorakshep for the night.

Landmarks Gorakshep Lake Everest Base Camp - Day 10
Gorakshep to Kalapatthar to Lukla
Wake before dawn (expect -10 to -14°C/-14 to -7°F with potential wind) and trek to Kalapatthar at 5,545 meters for 360-degree views of Mount Everest, Lingtren, Khumbutse, and Changtse. Return to Gorakshep to rest. Those going to Base Camp today leave early for breakfast. Later, take a helicopter ride over Gokyo Lake back to Lukla.

Landmarks Kalapatthar Gokyo Lake - Day 11
Lukla to Kathmandu
Catch an early flight back to Kathmandu after finishing the mountain trek. Once you arrive, rest at your hotel or explore souvenir shopping around Kathmandu with your guides. A farewell dinner hosted by Alpine Club of Himalaya happens this evening to celebrate completing your journey.

Departure from Kathmandu
Your Everest trek officially ends today. A representative from Alpine Club of Himalaya will pick you up a few hours before your scheduled flight and drop you at Tribhuvan International Airport.
