Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Varanasi
You'll arrive at Varanasi airport where a Travel XS representative meets you, then head to your hotel to check in. After settling in, a guided walk takes you through Varanasi's streets to see sacred temples, shrines, and the holy pond near Assi Ghat. Then you'll wander through the busy Bengali Tola bazaar, checking out shops and trying street food from vendors. By evening at 7pm, you're at the river for the Ganga Puja ceremony at the Ganges, where brass lamps, bells, and candles float on the water.

Varanasi to Departure
This morning you'll take an early boat ride on the River Ganges and watch Hindu devotees performing rituals along the riverbanks, including at the cremation Ghats. Later in the day, you head out to Sarnath to see the Chowkandi and Dhamek Stupas, explore ruins from 9th and 10th century monasteries and temples, visit the 1931 Mahabodhi Society temple, and check out the Tibetan Temple. After that, you'll transfer to Varanasi airport for your departure.
