- Day 1
Vientiane
You'll be picked up at the airport and taken to your hotel. This afternoon, the city tour hits several important stops starting with Wat Sisaket, which has thousands of small Buddha statues inside. From there, you'll see Wat Prakeo, the former royal temple that once held the Emerald Buddha. The tour continues to That Luang Stupa and the Patuxay Monument, then wraps up at the COPE exhibition centre. Later, there's a welcome dinner to kick off the trip.

Vientiane to Luang Prabang
After breakfast, you're heading to the airport for a short flight to Luang Prabang. Once you land, a transfer takes you to your hotel. The Royal Palace Museum comes first, followed by a walk through quieter streets where you'll find hidden spots like Wat Chomkhong with its carved details. The route passes traditional Lao houses next to French Colonial architecture, Wat Phapai temple, and the Fine Arts School. The tour ends at Wat Xiengthong, known for its sweeping roofs.

Luang Prabang
You'll cruise upriver on the Mekong early in the day, taking in countryside views. A stop at Ban Muangkeo village leads into a trek toward Pak Ou Caves, which contain thousands of gold Buddha statues. Along the way, you can try local rice wine at Ban Xanghai. On the return, the itinerary includes Ban Nongxai artisans and a silversmith workshop before getting back to Luang Prabang around mid-afternoon.

Luang Prabang
Leaving Luang Prabang with a guide and driver, you'll travel about 80 minutes through rice fields and pineapple plantations. The trek starts at Ban Longlao, a H'mong village, then goes 2 to 2.5 hours through forest and jungle to reach Kuang Si Waterfall. You'll have time for lunch on your own, swimming, and relaxing. There's a chance to hike to the waterfall's top if you want. You'll head back to catch the sunset over the Mekong and end with a farewell dinner.
