Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
You'll arrive in Kathmandu and head to the hostel where your Adventure Leader meets you on the rooftop for a welcome briefing. This is where you'll get oriented and meet your fellow travelers. After that, spend the rest of the day exploring Durbar Square at your own pace, trying out local food, and checking out the live music scene in Thamel District. It's a good way to get a feel for the city before things get going.

Kathmandu
Early risers have the option to catch a sunrise flight over Mount Everest if you want that experience. Later in the morning, join the group for a full day visiting Kathmandu's major spiritual sites. You'll see Swayambhunath Stupa Temple, Boudhanath, and Pashupatinath Temple throughout the day. These are significant places, so there's a lot to take in and learn about.

Lalitpur to Nagarkot
You'll travel to Nagarkot with a stop in Lalitpur along the way to explore temples like the Golden Temple and Bangla Mukhi Temple. There's also a chance to meet the living goddess if that interests you. You should arrive in Nagarkot by lunchtime, and afterward, there's an optional 30-minute hike up to a viewpoint where you can catch the sunset if you're up for it.

Landmarks/POIs Golden Temple Bangla Mukhi Temple - Day 4
Nagarkot to Kathmandu via Bhaktapur and Pharphing
Start the morning with a walking tour through Bhaktapur, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site with lots of history. Then you'll head to Pharphing to see the monastery and meditation cave connected to Padmasambhava. The group returns to Kathmandu by evening, leaving you free to explore the city on your own if you want.

Kathmandu to Chitwan
You'll leave Kathmandu early with breakfast somewhere along the route, reaching Chitwan by midday. After lunch, get ready for a jeep safari through the national park to look for wildlife like deer, monkeys, and rhinos, with hopes of spotting tigers or leopards. Later there's a canoe ride at sunset, then the evening wraps up with a traditional Tharu Cultural Show.

Landmarks/POIs Chitwan National Park - Day 6
Chitwan to Lumbini
The journey takes you to Lumbini, arriving in the early afternoon. After lunch, you'll explore Buddhist temples throughout the area, including the Maya Devi Temple where Buddha was born. You'll also see temples built by Buddhist communities from different countries like Cambodia and Germany, each with their own character.

Lumbini to Pokhara
You'll reach Pokhara in the early afternoon and have time to settle in and get comfortable. Later, there's a momo making class where you learn how to prepare this traditional Nepalese dumpling, then you get to eat what you made. It's a hands-on way to connect with the local food culture.

Landmarks/POIs Phewa Lake - Day 8
Pokhara
This day is flexible and you get to choose what you do. The morning can be spent relaxing by the lake or checking out places like the Mountain Museum if you prefer that. If you're adventurous, options include bungee jumping at Kushma or trying paragliding. Later the group gathers for a calm boat ride on Phewa Lake, and there's an optional movie night at Movie Garden if you're interested.

Landmarks/POIs Phewa Lake Mountain Museum - Days 9 - 11
Pokhara (Poon Hill Trek or Yoga Retreat)
You have two different options here and need to decide in advance. Option one is a 3-day yoga retreat at Tri Bikram Yoga Center (45 GBP extra cost) with yoga, dance classes, tea ceremonies, and meditation. Option two is a 3-day Poon Hill trek with a 2-3 hour hike through jungle on day one, an optional sunrise hike to Poon Hill on day two followed by a 6-hour trek, and on day three a hike through villages back to Pokhara with an optional foot massage.

Pokhara to Bandipur
You'll depart for Bandipur and arrive around midday. Spend the afternoon on a leisurely walk through this well-preserved town with the other travelers. In the evening, there's an option to go out with the group and try local food to get a real taste of what Bandipur has to offer.

Landmarks/POIs Bandipur - Day 13
Bandipur to Kathmandu via Fissling
On your final day, you'll do white water rafting at Fissling, arriving around noon for a couple hours of navigating the rapids. After the rafting, it's time to head back to Kathmandu where your Nepal adventure wraps up.
