- Day 1
Nairobi to Maasai Mara
A driver picks you up from your Nairobi hotel at 8am and you'll head toward Maasai Mara, stopping at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint along the way for views across the valley. After a picnic lunch during the drive, you'll arrive at camp and check in before heading back out for an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner and rest follow at camp.

Maasai Mara
This is your full day in Maasai Mara searching for the Big Five throughout the reserve. You'll have picnic lunches served in the field as you drive around looking for wildlife, particularly near the Mara River where animals gather. If you're interested, there's an optional evening visit available to a local Masai village for cultural exchange.

Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha
Breakfast comes early at 7am, then you head into Lake Nakuru National Park for a 3-hour game drive looking for white rhinos and the pink flamingos the lake's known for. You'll drive to Lake Naivasha for lunch, and afterward there's a biking safari option at Hell's Gate National Park (or you can do a car version if you'd rather rest). The day wraps up with a one-hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha for bird watching and hippo viewing.

Lunch and a short rest happen at your lodge before the afternoon game drive.
