Itinerary
- Day 1
Aqaba to Wadi Rum
Your hotel pickup in Aqaba gets you heading out to Wadi Rum in the early part of the day. Once you arrive, you'll connect with your Bedouin guide who takes you into the desert for a 4 to 5 hour 4x4 journey. During this time you'll see the Nabatean Temple, Lawrence Spring, sand dunes that stretch across the landscape, Khazali Canyon with its rock formations, rock bridges, and Lawrence House where T.E. Lawrence stayed. Lunch happens out in the desert, either a Bedouin meal or a box lunch depending on what's arranged. After you head back toward Aqaba, and if you're interested, camel riding is available during the return trip so you can experience that part of desert travel too.
