- RSRolf· May 26th, 2025We participated this tour in April 25. Already arriving in Morocco the troubles started, they simply forgot to pick us from the airport. We experienced drivers fighting with their sleepiness behind the wheel or watching videos on the mobile while driving. In Tour Radar they clearly state maximum 16 persons per group. In Rabat the morning departing time was quite late, and it turned out this was to wait for a second group to join uns. So over 30 persons we went on tour this day. After my complaint nothing happened and I had to escalate the story with Tour Radar (thank you for the help), after this suddenly things proceeded. So we got at leas guaranteed two tour guides on all locations. Departure times for the next day have been difficult to get, sometimes we got it as late as 10 pm. If you are on a tour, you like to plan your evening also according to the next morning departure time. Upon asking we always got the lame excuse, that logistics did not give them a time. There are several serious organizational issues that have significantly diminished the experience: Disjointed Group Experience Despite booking a “group tour”, we've been split up across different hotels. Some travellers were placed in completely separate accommodations with the excuse that "they booked early." This directly contradicts the confirmation emails we received days before the tour started listing the hotels we were booked in. When questioned about keeping the group together, we were told no rooms were available - yet a quick check on Booking.com showed availability. The hotels we've stayed at so far have been inconveniently located, far from any points of interest or restaurants. Poor Day Tour Organization Day 3's tour to Tangier was particularly disappointing. Another tour group (Spanish-speaking) was merged with our supposedly English-speaking tour. The entire day catered primarily to their needs and interests, including longer shopping stops and even waiting while someone got a shave. As a result, we missed items on our promised itinerary. The guides focused mainly on the Spanish-speaking guests, leaving us feeling like an afterthought. Last-Minute Planning & Communication Perhaps most frustrating is the lack of timely information. We don't receive details about the next day's activities until after 8:30 PM the night before. When multiple group members questioned this, we were simply told they were "waiting on the logistics department" for information. For a professional tour company, logistics should be arranged well in advance, not improvised daily. At this point, I'm not optimistic that the tour will improve. I cannot recommend this company to other travelers seeking a well-organized Moroccan experience. Asked on April 1st, 2025I very much like the Totally Morocco Tour from Marrakesh 11 days. I am wondering if the trip can be customized to include an overnight stay in Chefchaouen? A stop in Meknes between Rabat and Fez? Perhaps an overnight stop between Fez and the Merzouga desert to break up the drive and to see Ifrana, Azrou Forest, Errachidia. An overnight near Boumalne Dades to allow for a drive to the Monkey Fingers and Dades Gorge?

I like this tour as well as your 'Highlights of Morocco Tour from Marrakech' and trying to decide between them. Can you please let me know what the main difference is between the two tours and: * Is one better than the other for solo travellers? * How much is an expected tip for guides and how many guides will I need to do this for (I have been caught out in the past and want a clear idea before I go) * Once booked, can I change the date? I am never sure whether to book the tour or the flights first so don't want to get caught out especially if flights change * What additional costs can I expect - such as entry fees to certain places? * When I book a tour is it still guaranteed to go ahead even if no one else books on the same tour? * Is every part of this tour guided? I am not keen on 'free' days being a solo traveller (safety walking around on my own and meeting new people are important to me)
