Cochin
You'll arrive at Cochin airport and get transferred to your hotel. By evening, you'll watch a traditional Kathakali Dance performance with elaborate costumes and detailed makeup designs.

Cochin to Munnar
This morning you'll walk through Cochin's historic areas, checking out Fort Cochin, St. Frances Church, the Jewish Synagogue, and Dutch Palace. After lunch, you'll drive to Munnar and get your first look at the rolling tea plantations and green hillsides.

Munnar
You'll spend the day around Munnar visiting Pothamedu, Mattupetty Dam, and the Eravikulam National Park. Then you'll head to a tea plantation where you can walk through the fields and try some fresh tea with an explanation of how it's made.

Munnar to Thekkady
You'll travel to Thekkady, driving through the scenic Ramakkalmedu area. During the day you'll visit a spice plantation to see how different spices grow. Later in the evening you can relax and take in the fragrant atmosphere around you.

Thekkady to Kumarakom
Early morning starts with a boat safari in Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary where you'll look for various animals and plants. In the afternoon, you'll head to Kumarakom and check into a resort surrounded by backwater areas.

Kumarakom to Alleppey
You'll get on a houseboat and cruise through Alleppey's backwaters for the day and night. Along the way you'll pass through narrow canals and see how people live in the villages. You'll sleep on the houseboat with the water and quiet around you.

Alleppey to Port Blair
After leaving the houseboat, you'll head to Cochin airport and fly to Port Blair in the Andaman Islands. Once you arrive, you'll visit Corbyn's Cove beach and go to the Sound and Light Show at Cellular Jail in the evening.

Port Blair to Neil Island

Neil Island

You'll catch a ferry heading to Havelock Island with its white sand beaches. Once you check into your hotel, you can settle in and get a feel for the relaxed island atmosphere.

Havelock Island
You'll take a trip to Elephant Beach where the water is shallow and bright blue. During the day you can do water activities and enjoy the peaceful setting of this beach.

Havelock Island
You have another day to spend on Havelock doing whatever you like. You might relax on a beach or check out other parts of the island you haven't seen yet.

Havelock to Port Blair
You'll take the ferry back to Port Blair with memories of the clear water and beaches. After you arrive, you'll check into your hotel and have time to rest.

Port Blair
You'll go to North Bay to see the underwater life and corals beneath the surface. Later you'll visit Ross Island, which was the British capital years ago. Your evening is free to think back on your Andaman trip.

Port Blair Departure
After breakfast you'll say goodbye to the Andaman Islands and head to the airport to leave, finishing your journey through Kerala's backwaters and the Andaman Islands' tropical areas.
