Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Cairo
You'll arrive in Cairo where your English-speaking guide meets you for a transfer to your hotel in a climate-controlled vehicle. After checking in and settling your things, you'll head out on a felucca sailboat ride along the Nile to catch the sunset. Later, dinner happens at a traditional Egyptian restaurant before heading back to rest for the night.

- Day 2
Pyramids of Dashour, Saqqara, Memphis, and Giza
Following breakfast at your hotel, you'll travel to Dahshur to see the Bent Pyramid and Red Pyramid. From there, the route goes to Saqqara where you'll walk through the Step Pyramid of Zoser and check out the Imhotep Museum. Then you'll head to Memphis before finishing up at the Giza Pyramids, where camel rides are available and you can enter a pyramid (extra fee applies). The Sphinx is also on your route before the day ends.

- Day 3
Cairo City Centre, Egyptian Museum, Citadel, and Coptic Quarter
After breakfast, you'll spend the morning in downtown Cairo at the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, where you can see thousands of years of history including Tutankhamun's Treasure. In the afternoon, you'll go to the medieval Citadel built by Saladin, which contains the Alabaster Mosque and gives you panoramic views across the city. Before wrapping up, you'll visit the Coptic Quarter to see some of Egypt's oldest churches, including the Church of St. George where the Holy Family reportedly took shelter.

Maadi, Manial Palace, Nilometer, and Khan el Khalili Bazaar
You'll have breakfast then travel to Maadi to learn about Egypt's royal history. At Manial Palace, the former residence of Prince Mohammed Ali, you'll see the Sun Throne Room, Royal Mosque, Living House, and Women's Quarters. You'll also check out the Nilometer, an ancient device for measuring Nile flood levels and forecasting harvests. After trying Egyptian pastries at a famous Cairo bakery, you'll have free time to explore Khan el Khalili Bazaar and browse crafts, haggle, or sit in a café with shisha.
