- Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
Your guide meets you at Tribhuvan International Airport and drives you to your hotel in Thamel. You'll attend a briefing about the trek ahead and meet the other trekkers joining you.

Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing
You'll spend the day exploring Kathmandu Valley, hitting four World Heritage Sites: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Bouddhanath, and Pashupatinath temple. In the afternoon there's a trek orientation program where you'll connect with the rest of your team. You're staying at a 3-star hotel tonight.

Kathmandu to Khudi
You travel by road alongside the Trishuli River, passing through terraced fields and small villages. The route takes you through Dumre to Besisahar, then another half hour drive to Khudi. The trek officially starts here, and you'll get close-up views of the Manaslu range from the village.

Khudi to Sirung
Today's trek takes you across several suspension bridges, past a waterfall, and through farmland and forests. You'll pass through Tranche village before reaching Sirung, where the views really open up. From here you can see Nadi Chuli and Mount Manaslu in clear detail.

Sirung to Jagat
A fairly easy day through forests where you'll spot a variety of birds along the way. You cross suspension bridges over the Sangu Khola at Mipra and the Marsyangdi River at Syange. After that you follow the river until the final bridge brings you into Jagat.

Jagat to Dharapani
You descend to the river and walk through lush forest, then leave the water behind to climb higher toward Chamje. The Annapurna Range comes into view from here. You'll continue through Sattale on rock-strewn trails before descending again and passing through the forested village of Karte. A suspension bridge crossing brings you to Dharapani.

Dharapani to Chame
The trail starts with a gradual climb up to Bagarchhap, a Tibetan-style village set in the forest. You'll follow the left bank of the river toward Koto, which opens into the Nar Phu Valley Trekking route, then continue on to Chame. This town serves as the administrative center for the Manang District.

Chame to Pisang
You'll trek through Telekhu where you get superb views of Annapurna and Pisang (6091m). After recrossing the river on a suspension bridge to the south bank of the Marsyangdi River, you climb higher through pine forest as you move into the upper reaches of the Manang Valley, eventually reaching Pisang.

Pisang to Manang
The trek from Pisang to Braga takes you through a distinctive Tibetan village where houses are constructed stacked upon one another. You'll visit the Gompa, which is the largest temple in the entire Manang region. After that you continue to Manang, a popular spot where many trekkers stop to acclimatize.

Mt. Khangsar Acclimatization
Medical professionals recommend staying active while your body adjusts to altitude. You'll trek up to Mt. Khangsar (3756m) today to help your acclimatization process before you head to higher elevations.

Manang to Shree Kharka
You head toward Tilicho Lake, located west of Manang. The route takes you through Khangsar Khola (river) to reach Khangsar, a traditional Tibetan village, then you continue onward to Shree Kharka.

Shree Kharka to Tilicho Base Camp
This morning you'll pass a Gompa on the trail and head up to a high ridge. You follow a newer trail across the ridge before dropping down to the valley floor. The trail then enters a gorge and brings you to Tilicho Base Camp (4200m).

Tilicho Base Camp to Shree Kharka
Early morning brings you out on the trail toward Tilicho Lake, an inhospitable and cold place said to be the highest lake on earth. After you see it, you'll return to Shree Kharka for the night.

Landmarks/POIs Tilicho Lake - Day 14
Shree Kharka to Yak Kharka
You'll follow the more popular Annapurna circuit trail with great views of the Annapurnas, Tilicho and Gangapurna peaks. The trail goes through juniper bushes, which are the only vegetation at this altitude, before you arrive at Yak Kharka.

Landmarks/POIs Annapurna Gangapurna - Day 15
Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi
You gradually acclimatize to higher altitudes while following the east bank of the Jarang Khola. Steep bluffs line the trail, and you might spot blue sheep, the secretive snow leopard, or a Lammergeyer (bearded vulture) before arriving at Thorong Phedi.

Thorong Phedi to Muktinath
This is likely the toughest day as you head to higher altitudes where the air gets thinner and winds can be strong. You may pass sheep, yaks and merchants on the trail. Reaching Thorong La Pass gives you views of Annapurna, Gangapurna, Khatungkang (6484m), and Dhaulagiri. Then you'll descend approximately 1600 metres to Muktinath.

Muktinath to Jomsom
From Muktinath the trail takes you through lush green meadows, past fruit orchards and streams. You'll pass through Kagbeni village, known for its horticulture and apple cider products, before arriving at Jomsom in the Kali Gandaki Valley.

Jomsom to Pokhara
You travel by bus from Jomsom to Pokhara. After checking in to your hotel near Lakeside, the rest of the day is free. You can explore the city, relax at a café or bar, or watch the sunset over the Annapurna Mountains across the lake.

Free Day in Pokhara
You have a free day in Pokhara to do what you want. Visit famous temples, check out Davies Falls, explore the bat cave, or go boating on Phew Tal. The World Peace Pagoda sits on a hill across the lake and offers views over the entire Pokhara valley.

Pokhara to Kathmandu
You'll travel back to Kathmandu by tourist bus. Upon arrival you'll be taken back to your hotel.

Departure from Kathmandu
Your 21-day Annapurna circuit trek concludes today. A representative from Sherpa Expedition and Trekking will take you to the airport at least three hours before your departure.
