Siem Reap
You'll land at Siem Reap airport where someone meets you for the drive to your hotel. Since check-in doesn't happen until 2pm, you'll have the afternoon free to settle in and rest up. There are optional tours if you want to explore the area right away, but no pressure to do anything today.

Angkor Complex Full-Day Tour
An early 8:30 AM start gets you to Angkor's main temples with a group. You'll walk through the Angkor Thom complex, see Bayon and the famous Ta Prohm Temple from the Tomb Raider film, then grab Cambodian lunch at a local spot within the complex. After lunch you head to Angkor Wat itself, and later climb to the top of Phnom Bakheng to catch the sunset before heading back around 6:30 PM.

Floating Villages to Luang Prabang
The morning takes you to either Rolous market or a local pagoda to get a feel for everyday life in the region. From there, a boat trip connects you with the floating villages, where stilt-houses sit 8 to 10 meters above water and you'll see how schools, farms, and hospitals all work from the water. After returning to your hotel, you'll head straight to the airport for your afternoon flight to Luang Prabang.

Mekong River and Temples
Following breakfast, you'll go through the Royal Palace Museum built back during French colonial times. Later you take a leisurely cruise upstream on the Mekong, passing countryside scenes until you reach the Pak Ou Caves, which hold thousands of gold Buddha statues inside. You'll stop at Ban Xanghai village to see how locals make rice wine, then back in the city you check out Wat Xiengthong temple, the Traditional Art and Ethnology Center, and climb to Wat Prabath for sunset. The evening wraps up at the Night Market where local craftspeople sell handmade textiles.

Local Culture and Kuang Si Waterfalls
Get up early to see the morning alms giving ceremony, a Buddhist tradition since the 14th century where monks collect their daily meals. Then walk through the temporary morning market near the old Royal Palace to watch local bartering happen. After breakfast, climb 329 steps up Phousi Hill for views across the city and the Mekong River below. You'll visit the Buffalo Dairy Farm next, and later head to Kuang Si waterfalls with its three tiers and 50-meter drop into clear pools where you can swim or hike around. Ban Thapene village and hidden waterfalls are nearby to explore too, and there's an optional stop at the Bear Rescue Center. Finish your day at Ock Pop Tock Living Craft Center for the sunset before heading back to your hotel in the late afternoon.
