Itinerary
- Day 1
Nairobi to Samburu Game Reserve
You'll travel by road from Nairobi heading north toward Kenya's frontier and into Samburu Game Reserve. The landscape here is rough and arid, but that's what makes it special for spotting wildlife you won't find south of the Equator - Reticulated Giraffes, Grevy's Zebras, and Beisa Oryxes roam this terrain. Once you arrive, you'll settle into either a tented camp or lodge positioned along the Uaso Nyiro River beneath acacia trees.
