Itinerary
- Day 1
Nairobi to Aberdare National Park
You'll get picked up at 8:00 am and head to the Ark Lodge, which sits in Aberdare National Park overlooking a floodlit waterhole and salt lick. The lodge has this quirky three-deck design that looks like Noah's Ark, with multiple viewing areas and balconies spread throughout. A night guard will let you know when animals show up at the waterhole, so you can catch them when they come down to drink.

Samburu Game Reserve
Today you'll have the flexibility to do game drives whenever works best for you in Samburu Game Reserve. Since it gets quite hot during the day, you can arrange your drives for early morning or later afternoon when conditions are better and wildlife tends to be more active.

Samburu Game Reserve to Lake Nakuru National Park
Start with breakfast at the lodge, then take a morning game drive through Samburu before heading toward Lake Nakuru National Park, passing Thompson's Falls along the way. You'll arrive by lunchtime at your lakeside lodge, and in the afternoon you'll go on game drives looking for flamingos, water birds, and other animals. You'll stop at viewpoints like Lion Hill, Baboon Cliff, and Out of Africa Hills during your drives.

You'll spend the whole day exploring Masai Mara National Reserve with all your meals provided at the camp. If you're interested, you can arrange a hot air balloon ride or visit a Masai village, though both come with additional costs.

Masai Mara to Nairobi
You'll have an early breakfast at camp, then check out and drive back to Nairobi, arriving in time for lunch. There's an option to eat at Carnivore restaurant before heading to your hotel or airport, if that interests you.
