Itinerary
- Day 1
Casablanca to Marrakech
You'll get picked up from your hotel or airport in Casablanca and head out toward Marrakech. Once you arrive, a local guide takes you on a 4-hour walking tour through the Medina in the afternoon. You'll walk through Bahia Palace and check out the Saadian Tombs before heading into the Souks. The day wraps up at Koutoubia Mosque and Djemaa el-Fna Square, where you can grab fresh orange juice and watch street performers doing their thing.

- Day 2
Marrakech to Taroudant
Today you're traveling to Taroudant, taking a winding route through the Oued n'Fiss valley. The drive climbs about 15 km up into the mountains, reaching Tizi-n-Test pass at 2,092 m (6,863 ft), so be ready for temperature and weather shifts at that elevation. From up there you'll see panoramic views in all directions. After you come back down, you'll arrive in Taroudant, the fortified red city, with snow-covered Atlas Mountains visible in the distance.

- Day 3
Taroudant to Tafraoute
Following a traditional Moroccan breakfast, you'll drive through groves of olive and argan trees heading into the Anti-Atlas region. Along the way, you'll come across small oases with palm trees, ancient rock carvings, interesting rock formations, and if you visit from February onward, almond trees in bloom. The afternoon is yours to spend however you want, exploring at your own pace. If you're interested, there's an option to rent a bike and get around that way.

Landmarks Anti-Atlas Mountains - Day 4
Tafraoute to Sidi Ifni or Mirleft
After breakfast, you'll drive out of the mountains toward the southern coast. The winding route over Anti-Atlas peaks gives you panoramic views the whole way. There's a stop at the Kasbah at Col du Kerdous (1,203 m/3,947 ft), which sits roughly midway between Tafraoute and Tiznit (Morocco's silver capital). From there you'll continue to Mirleft, a popular kite-surfing village on the coast. Weather permitting, you can swim at Gzira Beach, known for its red sands and dramatic rock formations. You'll finish the day in Sidi Ifni, a charming fishing town with Spanish colonial architecture.

Sidi Ifni to Essaouira
Leaving Sidi Ifni after breakfast, you'll drive along the coastal road with beautiful beaches on your route toward the green Massa Valley. You'll pass by Agadir for a quick stop (no extended time here), then continue to Taghazout, a fishing town famous for surfing, where you'll have lunch. From there, the coastal drive continues to Essaouira, and you'll spend the next 2 nights here soaking up the relaxed vibe of this historic hippie town.

- Day 6
Essaouira
You have the full day to see Essaouira however you'd like. Check out the traditional fishing port, take a walk along the golden beach (it's well-known for wind and kite surfing), and wander through the Medina to look at souvenirs and local artwork. Grab fresh fish for lunch, maybe go on a camel ride along the beach, and explore the historic ramparts from the 16th century fortress with nice views of the shoreline.

Essaouira to Casablanca
After breakfast, you'll head back to Casablanca, driving through Moroccan countryside with scattered villages, olive groves, and wild argan trees along the way. There's a stop at a women-run cooperative where you can see how argan oil is extracted and made into cooking oil and cosmetics, plus there's a chance to taste and buy some products if you want. You'll get dropped off at your Riad or hotel in Casablanca (or the airport) in the early afternoon.
