Our guide was so knowledgeable about the flora and fauna as well as the history and current conditions of Costa Rica and surrounding countries. Learning is so much a part of what we want to experience while traveling. This was an excellent opportunity. A bonus is how absolutely gorgeous Costa Rica is.

We had a fantastic time exploring Costa Rica! The itinerary was wonderful, the food was tasty, and our Tour Manager (JP Saborio) truly made our trip special. Not only were we able to see beautiful sights like the Arenal Volcano, Tortuguero National Park, and Manual Antonio's stunning beaches, but we also were lucky enough to see tons of animals! Sloths, monkeys, birds, butterflies, lizards, crocodiles, and more were daily visitors. We loved white water rafting and zip lining! The safari float, hanging bridges, and rainforest hike were incredible. My travelers and I enjoyed JP's early morning nature walks and bus lectures too. He was a vital part of our experience. This trip was so unique and truly fun. I highly recommend this itinerary for anyone looking to actively explore of the country! Do the excursions and extensions too.

It was a great tour. Saw plenty of nature. Lots of good experiences. Every experience was memorable. As with most bus tours with a set itinerary there is no flexibility and lots of bus time. Could have spent more time at some of the inclusions. This tour could have easily been a 2-3 week tour esp. when 2 days are travel days.

Thought accommodations were very good especially Hotel Lomas as well as activities in La fortuna. Enjoyed the family owned finca- using plants for herbal medicine was very interesting and in formative. So happy to be able to experience hanging bridges, zip lining and white water rafting-the personal who helped with this were friendly and helpful. The meals included were for most part were great and ample. Least enjoyed was finca on Peñas Blancas river and long bus ride , followed by hike to Manuel Antonio Park( poor restroom accommodations and long afternoon- did not see wildlife on hike) The lunch after hike was great. Enjoyed the rustic experience at Tortuguero.

The title of this tour is Costa Rica A World of Nature, and this trip didn't disappoint. We saw monkeys, sloths, lizards, tiny frogs, caiman, massive crocodiles, and birds of all colors and sizesand so much more. The lush vegetation and exotic flowers were stunning. Each day was a new and unique experience. Our adventures included excursions in small boats along coastal waterways, rafts down inland rivers and hikes through rainforests and along the base of the Arenal volcano. In addition we enjoyed various side trips and stops. Each place we stayed had its own unique character and charm. Our tour manager Chris made the trip even more enjoyable and memorable. He made sure all aspects of the trip ran smoothly, and the pacing was appropriate for our group. His pride and love for his country was apparent whether he was pointing out wildlife or sharing information about the culture, history, demographics, economy and all things Costa Rica as we traveled the countryside. I positively fell in love with this country, and was sad to have to say goodbye. Pura vida!
