- Day 1
Arrival in Costa Rica
You'll arrive in Costa Rica and get transferred to your hotel to get settled. This is your introduction to pura vida, the relaxed way of life that the country is all about.
- Day 2
Tortuguero National Park
A boat takes you to Tortuguero National Park and your jungle lodge. You'll travel down the rivers and canals, stopping at the world's first sea turtle research station before exploring Tortuguero town with your Tour Manager. By evening you're surrounded by rainforest sounds.

Tortuguero National Park
Head out on a nature cruise looking for green macaws, jaguars, manatees, and ocelots. The afternoon is free to relax at the resort. During the evening a local shares village stories and teaches you how to harvest and prepare coconuts, ending with tasting coconut candy.

Landmarks/POIs Tortuguero National Park - Day 4
Sarapiqui and Tirimbina Rainforest Center
You'll take a boat back to the mainland and travel to Sarapiqui and Tirimbina Rainforest Center. At a cacao plantation you learn about sustainable processing from bean to bar and get to taste it. After that you'll settle into your nature resort on the San Carlos River and walk through the botanical garden.

Peñas Blancas River Safari
Paddling and floating down the Peñas Blancas River with a naturalist guide, you'll take in rainforest sights and sounds at a relaxed pace. A local family invites you to their finca for homemade banana bread and coffee. The day ends with a guided walk through private primary forest.

Arenal Hanging Bridges
Walk across hanging bridges high above the jungle canopy on a guided tour of Arenal's famous bridges. You'll get views of the natural world from way up there. Your resort offers striking views of Arenal volcano.

Arenal Adventure Choice
Today you choose your adventure. Either zip-line over the jungle canopy or hike across lava fields from Arenal's 1968 eruption. The afternoon is yours to explore La Fortuna or relax by the pool. A farm-to-table lunch is available if you're interested.

Landmarks/POIs Arenal Volcano - Day 9
Coffee Farm to Playa Herradura
You'll visit a local coffee farm to see where some of Costa Rica's well-known beans come from. Tour the plantation with local workers and hear about their lives as farmers. Later you head to Playa Herradura and check into your resort, watching the sunset over the Pacific with colorful birds flying around.

Manuel Antonio National Park
Manuel Antonio National Park is where you go today with its green rainforests and white sand beaches. Walk the trails searching for wildlife in the canopies or swim in turquoise waters. The evening is free for you to relax.

Rio Grande Crocodile Safari and San Jose
A jungle crocodile safari on the Rio Grande has you spotting crocodiles among the mangroves from your boat. After that you'll head to San Jose for a farewell dinner celebrating the pura vida of Costa Rica.
