You'll arrive at Keflavik Airport and get a complimentary shuttle ride to your hotel. Later this evening, there's a Welcome Reception with canapés where you'll meet your Travel Director and other travelers.

Gullfoss - Vik
Head east first to check out Hellisheidavirkjun, Iceland's newest geothermal power station, then visit a local farm at Fridheimar where you'll meet the family and taste homegrown tomatoes. After that, you'll see the hot springs at Geysir and Gullfoss waterfalls. In the afternoon, stop at the south coast waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss before reaching Vik for the night.

Lake Jökulsárlón - Höfn
Travel along the dramatic southern coast with black sand beaches and basalt formations. You'll pass through Skaftafell National Park to see Vatnajökull, Europe's largest glacier, then head to Lake Jökulsárlón with its luminous blue icebergs. Arrive in Höfn harbor town, get an orientation from your Travel Director, and have dinner at your hotel with local produce.

Vök Baths - Egilsstaðir
Drive through narrow fjords with steep cliffs and small fishing villages. You'll glimpse Papey Island, where Gaelic monks once settled before the Vikings. Continue to Egilsstað and relax at Vök Baths, Iceland's only geothermal floating pools on Lake Urriðavatn. Dinner is included at your hotel this evening.

Húsavík - Akureyri
Head to Lake Mývatn to see geological formations from geothermal activity, including mud pools and colored mineral deposits. Stop in the fishing village of Húsavík with free time for lunch, and you can visit the Húsavík Whale Museum for a guided tour if interested. Later, the evening is yours to relax or explore Akureyri.

You'll see the glacier, the sandy hills and black lava fields at Búðir, and the yellow beach. Walk along the sea cliffs at Arnastað to see unique column rock formations. Consider an optional dinner at The Settlement Center in one of Borgarnes's oldest houses.

Journey south to Thingvellir, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where tectonic plates meet on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. In Reykjavik, choose between the Perlan Museum exploring glaciers and volcanoes or a FlyOver flight-ride experience. Spend the afternoon at leisure visiting geothermal pools, Sky Lagoon, or exploring the city streets. End with dinner at a local restaurant.
