Day 1
Istanbul Old City Tour
Your guide picks you up from the hotel at 9:30 AM and heads into Sultanahmet, where the day centers around Istanbul's most significant historic sites. After arriving in the district, you'll walk through the Blue Mosque first, taking in its interior before moving on to Hagia Sophia, which sits nearby. The Hippodrome comes next, and you'll get a sense of the space where chariot races happened centuries ago. Mid-afternoon you head to Topkapi Palace, where you can see the former residence of Ottoman sultans and its courtyards. The tour wraps up back in Sultanahmet Square by evening, giving you time to grab dinner in the area before heading back.

Our private walking tour of Istanbul’s Old City was an amazing experience! Our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the city’s incredible history and culture. We visited all the highlights Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar and also discovered some lovely hidden spots along the way. The guide shared so many interesting stories and made the tour both fun and educational. We even had the chance to visit a local carpet shop, where we learned about traditional weaving and bought a beautiful carpet at a very reasonable price 🙏 Everything was perfectly organized and ran smoothly. A big thank you to the Travel Tips Turkey team for arranging such a wonderful experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Istanbul!

Payment information
- For any tour departing before February 3rd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 3rd, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Travel Tips Turkey. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
