Arrival in Kathmandu
You'll touch down at Kathmandu Airport and get picked up for the drive to Hotel Dream City in Thamel. Your first evening includes a welcome dinner to kick things off.

Kathmandu
This morning starts with a seven-hour private car tour through Kathmandu's UNESCO sites with a guide. You'll see Pashupatinath, the sacred Hindu shrine, then head to the Buddhist temples at Boudhanath and Swayambhunath. The day wraps up at Kathmandu Durbar Square to check out the old Nepalese architecture. By afternoon, you'll head back to sort through your gear and pack for the trekking portion of the trip.

Kathmandu to Pokhara
After breakfast, a 30-minute flight takes you over the Himalayan peaks to Pokhara. This lake city gives you options to explore Begnas, Phewa, or Rupa lakes, or visit spots like World Peace Pagoda, Davis Falls, Mahendra Cave, and the International Mountain Museum. Adventure sports are available if you're interested.

Pokhara to Jomsom
You fly this morning to Jomsom, and the aerial views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna from the plane are really something. You'll settle into your accommodation there for the night.

- Day 5
Muktinath
Your trek starts today with an uphill climb on mountain trails alongside the Kali Gandaki River toward Kagbeni at 2,810m. This quiet settlement sits where two rivers meet, and from there you can see Mt. Nilgiri to the south. Kagbeni is known as the gateway to Upper Mustang, and you have the option to add a side trip to Muktinath, the holy Hindu temple that takes about six hours round trip. The route there has some ups and downs but stays fairly manageable.

Muktinath to Jomsom
You'll make your way back from Muktinath to Jomsom today, and you can choose to walk the trail or take a jeep depending on how you're feeling and what your preference is.

Jomsom to Pokhara
After breakfast, you fly back to Pokhara and check into Hotel Crystal Palace. Spend the day visiting Peace Stupa, Davis Falls, the cave, and the museum around the city.
