He was a fab tour guide and was always on hand to help us whether that was finding a pharmacy, helping us to literally climb the rocks and giving us recommendations for things to do / foods to eat. He is really passionate about animal conservation and the baby elephant sanctuary and turtle sanctuary was some of my top highlights. Yes, it will be very safe. 70% of our customers are solo travellers so its a great way to meet new people. You would be in a same share sex twin room throughout the trip. We do use 2/3 * hotels for this trip.

TruTravels is a youth-focused tour company, with trips designed for 18–30-year-old travelers. While we don't necessarily operate tours specifically for families, your eldest son would fit perfectly within the group age range, though your younger son at 17 would be just under the minimum.

To be able to join one of our tours all customers must have a minimum age of 18 and a maximum age of 45. Anybody that fails outside of these would be unable to join our tours I'm afraid

We don't offer the option to upgrade to My Own Room for our Latin America tours, due to the suppliers that we use and the type of accommodation on the trip. The accommodation for the trip is a mixture of twin share same-sex bedrooms and 6-bed dormitories. The stay at the Coop in San Jose will be shared accommodation, but the majority is same-sex twin share rooms (accommodations are subject to change and vary from departure to departure).
