- Day 1
San Jose
You'll land in San Jose and meet your representative who guides you to transport. Get to your hotel and settle in for your first night in Costa Rica.

San Jose to Tortuguero
The shared bus departs early around 6:30 am, traveling through Braulio Carrillo National Park toward the Caribbean plains. Mountain views and small villages pass by before breakfast in Guapiles around 8:30 am. After that, you'll board a boat through Tortuguero National Park's rivers and canals, arriving at your eco-lodge in time for lunch surrounded by tropical forest and wildlife.

Tortuguero
After breakfast, a guided 2-hour boat tour starts at 9 am through the Tortuguero canals with a naturalist guide. You'll move through canals, lagoons, and rainforest while spotting amphibians, reptiles, and mammals. Later in the afternoon, head to the village of Tortuguero to see Caribbean culture and local life. Dinner happens back at the hotel.

Tortuguero to Arenal
The shared boat leaves Tortuguero around 9 am, with land transfers taking you back to Guapiles for lunch around 1 pm. From there, board a shared transfer heading to the Arenal area, arriving around 5 pm for check-in. The rest of the day is yours to relax.

Arenal
After breakfast at 8 am, a 4-hour guided walking tour covers Arenal Volcano National Park. Back at the hotel by 12:30 pm, spend the afternoon relaxing or try optional activities like Hanging Bridges of Mistico Park, La Fortuna Waterfall hike, or Tabacon Hot Springs with dinner.

Arenal to Monteverde
After breakfast, you'll head out at 8 am toward Monteverde cloudforest. A pontoon boat takes you across the lake to Rio Chiquito (30-40 minutes), then a 1.5 hour microbus ride brings you to your hotel (about 3.5 hours total). Later that afternoon, explore Selvatura Park's cloudforest canopy via suspension bridges and platforms.

Tamarindo to San Jose
Start your last day with a good breakfast. Later, a private transfer takes you to Juan Santamaria International Airport at the right time for your flight home or to your next destination.
