Itinerary
- Day 1
Varanasi
Start your day at Dashashwamedh Ghat where you'll watch the morning rituals along the Ganges River with your guide. The ghat comes alive early, and you get a real sense of why this place holds such spiritual importance for pilgrims. From there, head to Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the most significant Hindu temples in India. It's an intense experience with the crowds and energy, so take your time moving through. Later, travel to Sarnath where Buddha gave his first sermon after achieving enlightenment. You'll see the remains and structures that mark this historic moment. Before heading back, stop at Ramnagar Fort and check out its museum collection, which shows the region's history and culture through artifacts and photographs.
