While some of the days were very long being on the road for over 9500kms really afforded a view of Africa the luxury safari goer doesn’t get to see. Saw the big five in copious numbers. Camped in some pretty unique environments. Dont’t think. Do!Show more
- Live· February 20th, 2023I can't even describe how special and amazing this tour was. Pete and Francis (our guides) are truly what made the trip so amazing. They were both so kind, thoughtful and caring. It felt like a family away from home. Yes, the tour itself was extraordinary. The sites, sounds, tastes etc. Amazing. However, it is the people that make this tour and these people will always mean. The world to myself and my husband. If you go on this tour request these guides! You won't regret it!Show more
- Thirdis· June 5th, 2025The tour was great. The experience is memorable. The driver, Zeph, carried us safely and he was extremely helpful. The tour guide, Crispy, was awesome and friendly and he tried his best to make sure everyone was comfortable. There is always room for improvement. The truck/bus is old and need upgrading. The truck shakes a lot and makes a lot of noise. Some of the windows do not work properly and add to the noise. Some windows could not close and there was plenty of dust that cause sneezing and coughing. The sun was extremely hot during the day while traveling and there was no curtains at the windows to block the sun. Accommodation at some sites were better than some but the overall experience was great.Show more

Acacia Adventure HolidaysOperator•Written May 2024The tour does not visit Kilimanjaro but if you mean ending in Dar es Salaam without visiting Zanzibar then you would finish on the morning of Monday 16Sep. The amended price would be USD 1395 + Adventure Pass USD 850. There are 2 nights spent camping (in the Serengeti/ Ngorongoro Crater); Acacia provides camping equipment including sleeping bag for those nights.
