Arrival in Baku
You'll arrive in Baku and head to your hotel to check in around 14:00. Later that evening at 18:30, your guide will meet you for a welcome dinner at a national restaurant before settling in for the night.

Baku Sightseeing
The day kicks off at 09:00 with a sightseeing tour starting at Martyrs Lane, which offers nice views over Baku's coastline. Then you'll walk through the old city of Icheri Sheher to see Shirvanshah's Palace, Caravanserai, and Maiden Tower. After exploring the main market square, you'll head to new Baku to check out Nizami Street and Fountain Square. The afternoon is yours to wander around on your own.

Gobustan National Park
Following breakfast, you'll travel to Gobustan National Park to see the Petroglyphs Museum and ancient petroglyphs that date back around 10,000 BC. Next you'll continue to the mud volcanoes in Gobustan Reserve, which contains roughly half of the world's mud volcanoes. From there, you'll return to Baku for the night.

Baku to Sheki
You'll depart Baku at 08:00 and drive toward Sheki, stopping at Diri Baba Mausoleum in Maraza village along the way. You'll visit the historical Juma Mosque in Shamakhi (restored in 2013), then drive through Girdimanchay River's canyon. Note that Lahij, a 5th-century village, isn't reachable in 2024 due to road construction. You should arrive in Sheki around 19:00.

Sheki to Lagodekhi, Georgia
After checking out, you'll take a 3-hour sightseeing tour of Sheki visiting the medieval fortress, Sheki Khans Palace, and local bazaar. Then you'll depart toward the Georgia border (115 km, roughly 2 hours). You'll cross into Georgia on foot through neutral territory (500 m), meet your Georgian guide, and head to Lagodekhi. Lunch includes traditional homemade wine at a local family guesthouse, so you'll experience genuine Georgian hospitality. Your evening is free.

Lagodekhi to Tbilisi
After breakfast, you'll head to Lagodekhi protected areas starting from Gurgeniani Information Center. You'll hike along the narrow Ninoskhevi River path to reach an 40-meter waterfall surrounded by rare plants like Lagodekhian gentiana and Georgian oak. Later, you'll drive to Tbilisi (160 km) with a possible stop in Sighnaghi Royal Town if time allows.

Tbilisi City Tour
Your walking tour begins after breakfast at Metekhi Church and the monument of Vakhtang Gorgasali, Tbilisi's legendary founder. You'll take a cable car to Narikala Fortress for views across the city, then walk to the National Botanical Garden featuring over 4,500 plant species. The afternoon takes you through the sulfur bath houses district and the charming Sharden area with narrow streets, cafes, and wine bars. You'll see Sioni Cathedral, Anchiskhati Basilica, and the Rezo Gabriadze Theatre clock tower before crossing the Bridge of Peace to Rike Park. Dinner of traditional Georgian cuisine happens at 19:30.

White-Water Rafting and Kazbegi
After breakfast, you'll head north to the Pshavi's Aragvi river valley for white-water rafting on the River Aragvi (easy difficulty, 8-10 km, about 1 hour) with professional instructors. Lunch with local cuisine follows nearby. You'll then continue to Ananuri architectural complex, a former Argveti Dukes residence with 16-17th century churches and towers overlooking Jinvali reservoir. Driving along the Georgian Military Highway, you'll pass its highest point at 2,379 m and arrive in Kazbegi with views of Mount Kazbek (5,033 m).

Kazbegi Hiking
Following breakfast, you'll hike to Gergeti Holy Trinity Church at 2,170 m for views of Mount Kazbegi. After returning to Stephantsminda, you'll continue to Gveleti Waterfalls via a small path through mountain scenery to reach an impressive waterfall.

Kazbegi to Borjomi
You'll have breakfast at the hotel, then check out and head to Uplistsikhe, an ancient cave town from the Hellenistic Period. You'll explore the unique combination of rock-cut cultures and pagan-Christian architecture. Later, you'll continue to Borjomi for a walk in the National Park, which is famous for its mineral water reserves.

Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park Hiking
After breakfast, you'll explore Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park in central Georgia. This UNESCO-recognized park has 11 trails across different geographical and ecological zones with nice landscapes, rich flora, and fauna. A specific hiking route will be selected based on difficulty and weather conditions. You'll have a picnic during the hike and stay overnight in Borjomi.

Borjomi to Tbilisi
You'll check out at noon and head to Mtskheta, one of Georgia's oldest towns and its cultural and religious center. You'll visit Jvari Church, an architectural masterpiece overlooking the confluence of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers, and Svetitskhoveli, the main cathedral where Christ's robe is said to be kept. You should reach Tbilisi by 17:00.

Free Day in Tbilisi
This day in Tbilisi is free with no guide or transportation included. You can explore at your own pace and consider visiting the Georgian National Museum, National Gallery, Tbilisi flea market, David Agmashenebeli Avenue, or taking the funicular to Mtatsminda Mountain. You might also check out historic neighborhoods, experience Georgian culture, or relax in the famous sulfur bath houses.

Tbilisi to Armenia via Haghpat and Lake Sevan
At 09:00, you'll transfer to the Georgian-Armenian border at Sadakhlo-Bagratashen. After crossing the border and meeting your Armenian guide, you'll drive to the Lori region to visit Haghpat Monastery (10-13th centuries), a UNESCO World Heritage Site with views of Debed River. You'll continue through Dilijan to Lake Sevan, Armenia's largest high-mountainous fresh water lake. You'll visit Sevanavank monastery remnants with two temples surrounded by khachkars, then drive to Yerevan for the night.

Garni and Havuts Tar Hiking
After breakfast, you'll depart Yerevan for Garni village, known for its Temple, the only pagan sacred site from the 1st century that survived Christianity's introduction in the 4th century. You'll switch transportation and hike with an instructor to the bottom of Havuts Tar mountain. Then you'll return to Yerevan for the night.

Yerevan City Tour
After breakfast, you'll explore Yerevan, one of the world's oldest cities and known as the pink city. You'll visit the Cascade Monument with its 500-meter-high, 50-meter-wide staircase featuring 2,780 stairs. You'll enjoy panoramic views of the Opera House, Mount Ararat, Swan Lake, and Republic Square. Later you'll walk along Abovyan Avenue and visit the Armenian Genocide Memorial complex on Tsitsernakaberd Hill. The day ends with a farewell dinner featuring traditional folklore show.

You'll check out of the hotel by noon. Free time is yours until your transfer to Yerevan International Airport for departure.
