Itinerary
- Day 1
Jaipur
Your hotel pickup happens at 8:30 AM, and from there you're heading into Jaipur's major sights for the full day. Amer Fort comes first, where you'll see the intricate carvings and the Mirror Palace up close. The drive takes you next to Jal Mahal sitting right on the lake, then you'll check out the Hawa Mahal with its famous latticed pink structure. After wandering through the City Palace complex (still partially a royal residence), there's a lunch break at a local restaurant where you cover the meal cost. The afternoon continues at Jantar Mantar, the UNESCO observatory with its architectural instruments for tracking celestial movements. Birla Temple offers a quieter moment before heading into the bazaars for shopping and souvenir hunting. By evening you're back at your hotel after a pretty full day of Jaipur's landmarks.
