- Day 1
Zagora
You'll get picked up from Zagora Airport or the bus station and driven to your Riad in the Draa Valley. Depending on when you arrive, there's time to settle in at the Riad or wander around town on your own. You're on your own for lunch and dinner, with options either at the Riad or at local spots around Zagora.

Landmarks Zagora - Day 2
Zagora to M'Hamid
Start with breakfast, then take a guided 1-hour tour through the Zagora oasis and the Draa Valley, checking out the date groves and henna fields. Your driver will take you toward M'Hamid with a lunch stop along the way. In M'Hamid you'll meet the camel caravan and local guides, then head out to spend your first night in a tent outside the village.

- Day 3
Sidi Naji
Your camel trekking starts after breakfast around 9 a.m. You'll walk through palm groves in the shade with a longer lunch break to escape the heat. Late in the afternoon you'll reach Sidi Naji, set up your camp, and have dinner under the open sky.

Landmarks Sidi Naji - Day 4
Sidi Naji to Erg Ezahar
The second day of trekking takes you through desert landscape alongside your camel caravan. Around midday you'll have lunch in the shade of tamarisk trees, then by afternoon you'll reach the large golden dune of Erg Ezahar. After camp is set up, you can climb the dune to catch sunset and take photos.

Landmarks Erg Ezahar - Day 5
Erg Ezahar to Erg Laghair
Your trek continues toward Erg Smar, an abandoned village that's been reclaimed by desert sands. After lunch under tamarisk trees you'll move on to Erg Laghair, where you can sit with the quiet of the desert and enjoy Berber music around the campfire.

Erg Laghair to Erg Chegaga
You'll trek toward Erg Chegaga, home to the region's largest and most well-known dunes with some reaching over 30 meters high. You'll climb the dunes to watch the sunset from the top, then settle into your camp for the night.

Erg Chegaga to Oum Laâlag
After watching sunrise over the grand Chegaga dunes and having breakfast, you'll continue trekking to Maihat Assolah and then to the Oasis of Oum Laâlag. Spend the evening relaxing under the desert stars with time to rest and take in the surroundings.

Oum Laâlag to Bourgane
Today you're heading toward Oued Laatache, known locally as the 'river of thirst.' Your lunch break happens near a well, an important stop for nomadic groups in the region. From there you'll trek toward Bourgane where you'll set up camp for the night.

Bourgane to Oued Naâm
You'll trek at your own pace to Oued Naâm, the 'River of ostriches.' After lunch to build up your energy, you'll continue to small dunes and make camp for your final night of trekking.

Landmarks Oued Naâm - Day 10
Oued Naâm to Ouled Driss
Your last day of trekking crosses the Hamada du Draâ, a flat desert landscape scattered with volcanic stones. After lunch you'll reach the village of Ouled Driss with its palm groves. If your timing works out, there's a chance to walk through the traditional Berber village with clay and stone houses.

Ouled Driss to Zagora
After breakfast at camp you'll return to Zagora by 4x4, taking in views of the Draa Valley along the route. You'll stop for lunch with a nomad family, then head back to your Riad where you can relax and recover from the trek.

Zagora Departure
Have breakfast at your Riad before your transfer to the airport for your flight home, or you can start your own travel plans from here depending on your schedule.
