Arrival in Quito
Land at Mariscal Sucre Airport in Quito where your driver-guide will meet you. They'll handle the transfer to your hotel so you can settle in for the night.

Landmarks Mariscal Sucre Airport - Day 2
Quito City Tour
Start with breakfast, then head up to El Panecillo for panoramic views across Quito. Move into the Old City to see churches and the Presidential Palace, after that travel to Mitad del Mundo at the equator. There you'll check out the Ethnographic Museum and Equatorial Line Museum before returning to your hotel.

Otavalo Market and Waterfalls
After breakfast, you'll drive about 1.5 hours to reach the Otavalo Indian Market and browse through all the artistic handicrafts there. From there, head to Cascada de Peguche waterfall, then spend some time around Cuicocha Lake. The drive back to Quito takes the evening, so you'll return to your hotel fairly late.

- Day 4
Cotopaxi Volcano Hike
Following breakfast, drive 1.5 hours to reach Cotopaxi Volcano, an active peak. You'll hike up to the refuge at 4,800 meters (15,748 feet), and depending on how you're feeling physically, there's an option to continue higher to the glacier at 5,000 meters (16,404 feet). Plan on returning to Quito by evening.

Flight to Coca and Amazon Jungle Arrival
After breakfast you'll fly from Quito to Coca. Once there, head to the Napo River main dock and board motorized canoes that take about 2.5 hours to reach Napo Wildlife Center. Once settled, hike the Matapalo Trail around 4:30 pm, then join a guided night walk at 6:40 pm to spot insects, birds, reptiles, and other jungle animals.

Landmarks Napo River Matapalo Trail - Day 6
Amazon Jungle Exploration
Breakfast is at 8:00 am, then you'll hike the Chaguamango Trail to learn about jungle herbs and look for wildlife. Lunch happens at noon at the wildlife center. Later, around 4:30 pm, you'll hike the Charapa Trail for about an hour where thousands of butterflies and active mammals often appear. The day ends watching the sunset from the riverbank.

Yasuni National Park Exploration
Your jungle exploration moves into Yasuni National Park, Ecuador's largest national park and famous for its parrot populations. Your guide will take you to the best spots to find these birds and other wildlife throughout the day.

- Day 8
Return to Quito
After breakfast, lodge staff help you pack your things. Then you'll take motorized canoes back to Coca and head to the airport for your flight to Quito. When you land, your driver will pick you up and take you to your hotel.
